Hey Heather! - hands off Mimi's dress - I'm first in line;) ... I'd need to lose about half my body weight first though.

Seriously... I am going to look for a red dress. :goodvibes

As long as someone doesn't push me overboard thinking I'm Big Red. I don't think that will happen. I don't have the "Personalities" that she has...anymore! ;) :)

Excellent..I won't be on my own in Red then.

Today's Trivia Question:

How fast can the WDW monorail travel?

How fast does it typically travel?

Well I didn't know and nor did Rick, so we cheated.

Can go up to 40MPH during normal operations, but at some points only aload to go 15 MPH.

Either you read my answer or went to Wikipedia! LOL:lmao: :lmao:

I'm with you on the DH in the grocery store - but I'm really responding to the calling the shopping cart a trolley. I love it! Over here a trolley is a street car, like a bus.

Another instance when US english and UK english cause problems:lmao:

It's actually in a bunch of places. The wikipedia article is actually looking for some verification. The unofficial Disney websites like Lou Mongello's have lots of information like this.

I remember seeing a special back in the 80s or 90s about rides at WDW on The Disney Channel that said the monorail was the fastest ride at WDW. At the time, space mountain was the fastest coaster at an incredible speed of 28 mph.

The documentary went onto say that the monorail traveled 40 mph. Now, Rockin Roller Coaster, Test Track, and Everest all go faster than our beloved monorail.

I have a really funny story while I was taking these photos.

The windows were on the little "side street" off Main Street. Fast asleep on a bench at the far end was a man all comfortable and snoring! I tip toed by him and carried on taking photos, one right above him. He woke up with a start, saw the camera and smiled:rotfl: - he hadnt a clue who I was but he smiled anyway!:rotfl: I hadnt the heart to tell him I'd zoomed in and he wasnt in the frame:rotfl2:

..........And that concludes day 1:rolleyes1

Lovely.

Just curious.....

But how many of your spouses/significant others (oh, is that only me;) )
not really care about Disney at all?
They just go along because it's your choice?

Bob, likes Disney but he always says that there are so many other places to go and things to do and other cruise lines to try, he just doesn't get it:rolleyes:

But it seems like so many of your spouses all like it the same as you do, or
is this not really the case.

Nope, Rick love it..but I'm the Disney nut.

Nancy...glad I'm not on my own with rogue shopping husbands. :lmao:

:scared1: What do you mean HOPEFULLY? Is there are a chance that they won't sailing with you now?

Tony and Stacy are pretty sure they are coming but the newleyweds aren't so sure. It's not that they don't want to, it's all about he money. :sad2:

What a nice photo Karen. Wish I liked AK though!

We had arranged with quite a few people off the Dibb to meet up at Celebration and tonight was the night! We met at the Celebration hotel - very posh! We chatted for about an hour, then said our goodbyes as we had rezzies at Town Tavern.

Heres Ellis colouring his colouring book in - one of the gifts from the goodie bags we were given at the meet.

Love Celebration...we've eaten there a couple of times.

And now some with us in the pictures too. We actually have quite a few with all 3 of us this trip, usually it is much harded to get Al in the pictures with Rach and I.
