Just finishing off day 1.

Ok, another obsession of mine is castle photos
Heres a few as it was lit for christmas that evening. I didnt have a tripod so they're a bit blurry

Some of the windows on Main Street

I have a really funny story while I was taking these photos.

The windows were on the little "side street" off Main Street. Fast asleep on a bench at the far end was a man all comfortable and snoring! I tip toed by him and carried on taking photos, one right above him. He woke up with a start, saw the camera and smiled - he hadnt a clue who I was but he smiled anyway! I hadnt the heart to tell him I'd zoomed in and he wasnt in the frame

..........And that concludes day 1

Mon 22nd

(Today was our only cold day. It was ok in the daytime, but it got really cold on the evening.)

Shopping day!

Today we shopped,.... and shopped ......and shopped.

We did Florida Mall, Prime outlets, and DownTown Disney. Disapointed with the christmas shop though.... I either had most of them or didnt like them or wouldnt have been able to pack them. I only bought 3 things ...

A normal shop in this store is two or the very large carrier bags, so you can imagine my disapointment (and Neils glee )

After that we went to the new T Rex restaurant.
Just burger type stuff but it was tasty.

After DTD, we headed to Magic Kingdom to see Holiday Wishes.

I was really looking forward to this. , but it was sooooooooooo cold waiting for it to start.

Daddy was cuddling Ellis to keep him warm.

....and yes, Neil is STILL wearing shorts. He refused to wear jeans.."I'm on holiday.. I wear shorts!" - stooopid man

We got close to the castle for this. I normally stand either half way down Main Street or on the bridge heading to Tomorrowland, but we got up close for a change. Would I do this again... NO! ... too close for the full fireworks effect. A lot of the fireworks were behind the castle and out of shot.

We were dreading leaving as it was really busy, but we shuffled with everyone else down Main Street, straight onto a waiting tram, straight onto a waiting monorail and were out of the parking lot from the castle front within 25 minutes - much better than usual.

And that concludes day 2. (thank god you all whisper)

Wow! - not at all... I'm honoured! - I didnt think they were much good! - next time I'm definately taking a tripod
