HI Frank

Thats great that you will be joining us. It wouldn't be the same
without you. Nancy and I both said the other day it won't be the same if Frank isn't part of the old group.

It was a FUN group - and what a fun picture of most of us! I can't wait to see you all again. And Kamy and Steve may be joining us as well!

Now that looks divine! I should have wandered back over to the UK and gotten one!

Speaking of trivia onboard....do they play it a lot on board??? I've only ever done the Who wants to be a mousketeer and well, it's not much of a challenge. Do they have other scheduled trivia? In Diversions I imagine? And is it DIsney trivia or general trivia???

I would love to meet up at least once with the BOBers for a trivia thing :thumbsup2

Here's something to think about: On the Members Cruise, at our 1st DISMeet onboard The Wonder, we had a DISboard Trivia Contest. Someone had gone back over the threads and collected a series of trivia questions about the people who were posting and the things we had all discussed while getting ready for the cruise (of course, this would be massive for B.O.B, so we'd probably have to limit it to the last couple of threads before the cruise!). The idea was to see how much you had learned (or how much you already knew ;) ) about your fellow cruisers and how much you were paying attention to some of the long running jokes. You were allowed to cheat, by asking your fellow cruisers for information, if you didn't know the answer and some of the questions were pretty tough. It was a great way to get everyone interacting. At the end, the people with the most right answers threw their sheets into a bucket and a few were drawn out and awarded little prizes.

If this sounds like something you guys might like to do, I would be happy to organize it. Just let me know!

Just to let those of you who know me that I WILL be coming with you all in October. Kathy, my sister(NJPrincess), and I will be travelling together. I didn't think I would be able to come because we were already taking a family trip in Sept. and I thought I might be joining some friends in Europe in the late spring/early summer. That doesn't look like it will happen so I have the time to come on the cruise.
I understand from Kathy that some of you whom I have never met know me from her posts. Since I don't have two or three weeks to read thru all the past posts, I may repeat things she has mentioned. I am guessing most of you know about my "job" as an RC priest. Actually, I am planning to say Mass somewhere on the ship on the Sunday while we are at sea and anyone is welcome.
Also, while I expect to try to keep up reading the posts, I probably not be posting all that much myself. So there you are! Joanne, don't forget your walkng shoes! :cool2:

welcome aboard!!!

I'd be happy to attend Mass. Will it be on deck 10?
Thats where i spend most of my time anyway.:cloud9:

ooohhh. a day after new years FO for the cute redhead.:cutie:
its been so long, so very long.:rotfl2: :lmao:

You might regret saying that after the first 500:rotfl2:

Its a chocolate bar... I'll try to describe it.:rolleyes1

10 " long aprrox by 1 1/2 " wide. Thin. Toffee inside then covered with chocolate. I like them best straight from the fridge so the toffee is brittle.

I have hundreds:rolleyes1

I loved it.... :thumbsup2 , .....puts mine to shame though:rolleyes1

I love pictures and details. Curly Wurly sounds yummy. I will have to try one.

That was fun! I will be glad to help you if you want to take on the project. I know I am wy behind on this but what was the name of the hotel you are staying in the night before and the information. Thanks!

Finally got caught up!!! :thumbsup2

Got in from work a little bit ago, they let us leave a little early today!!! :goodvibes

:sad2: Had some disturbing news earlier. One of Hazel's niece's (age 19, and a twin) suffered what is believed to be a heart attack or stroke as she was walking in the door from work. Her father and brother preformed CPR and brought her back, not once, but twice. She is in ICU at our local hospital. Hazel's sister is beside herself. This is not how we wanted 2008 to end, and 2009 to begin.

The phone just rang as I was typing. Hazel's dad called and said that Hazel's niece has, was is believed to be, a cyst on her brain. Any prayers and good thoughts would be greatly appreciated. As you can imagine, Hazel is a bit shook up as well and is sitting by the phone waiting for any updates.

:grouphug: pixiedust:  :wizard:

Sorry to hear that for Angelina. Was she still going to go to school? Had she reconsidered the massage school? I can't seem to recall.:confused3

At this point, I have no idea what this kid is going to do, I don't think she knows what she wants to do either. :confused3

Hazel was just talking to her sister and was told that Brittany might be coming home today. Tests revealed that Brittany was suffering from chemical reactions at work. Brittany had just started a new job and it appears the chemicals she works with caused her attack. Looks like Brittany will be looking for a different job or taking better precautions. Thanks everyone for your good thoughts, prayers and :wizard: .

In one way, this was a blessing, because, the tests still revealed the cyst/tumor on her brain that needs to be taken care of. Brittany will have to see a specialist for this problem.

 :thumbsup2

Hey Kathy and Leisha - Actually our trivia thing was simpler than what you describe. There was a call for DISers to submit trivia or interesting facts about themselves to the person organizing, and the questions came from the responses. I know this only since Mack's and my responses were included. It was a great deal of fun, and doing it this way should not be near the work it would take to go back through the BASH threads.

How far out can we book Palo and spa appointments, etc.. if we are CC but not on concierge level?

We are getting ready to head out for our concert and dinner. I will check back when I get home tonight.

He said he wanted to perform Mass not an exorcism

Andy I am almost 40 and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
