Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun! For my cruise fund, I got this bank that counts each coin that you put through and keeps a running total. I throw all my spare change in there. So far, I'm up to $35.

b/t/w did the AAA thing work out for you?

No, you're not! Right now, I'm the only one here, so I be checking in all morning. We are expecting some snow, but we are allowed to go home early today.

Chuck and I have a bucket like that too. It's actually a WDW popcorn container. :rotfl: Last time it was turned in we had a few hundred dollars. But I do like your idea of the counter. Maybe we'll get one for the bowling fund.

I called my TA and we were never charged the fuel charge to begin with so there is no refund for us. :thumbsup2 Thanks for the assistance though on it.

I do plan on sending her an email after the 1st to be sure we get our OBC from them. There were no AAA specials running when we booked this cruise so she said we will automatically get one in 09 if they are offered. I do plan on staying on top of this though. Every little bit helps. :thumbsup2

Have a good "early day" Kathy. I'm there until 4:00 or so.

Good morning/afternoon all

:dance3: Happy New Years Eve!:dance3:

Who's doing what tonight?

Rick and I will be at my brothers...it's become a bit of a tradition. We play games - UNO, rummicub and this year taking the PS2 with us for a mammoth BUZZ challenge. We have also played girls vs boys trival pursuit (PC) version, but we need to get an up-to-date version as the questions are getting repetitive.

We haven't sucumbed to the Wii addiction yet, and quiet honestly, I don't see us using it enought to warrent the £££. I think for the time being, we'll stick with PS2 and my dance mat.

Good morning all,

Our cruise fund is a little red credit card that accumulates disney dollars:lmao:

Getting ready to leave for work..........

Lina, and a group of her friends, are having a party at one of the friend's house.

Hazel and I will probably spend a quiet evening at home. Our church is having a special concert this evening, but the weather might be a bit nasty, and with still getting over the flu, I think it will be best to stay inside where it will be warm and dry.

Off I go, have a great day all.........:wave2:

Have a good day...wrap up warm.

Who's doing what tonight?

Stacy (DIL) is making dinner for all of us tonight and then a night of Wii. After getting a good idea from someone else, we decided to have a league Wii bowling night every week. We'll compete against each other.

We'll start a "Cruise Fund" bucket where we'll pay a nickel for everyone's spares, a dime for all strikes, a quarter for a turkey, and a dollar for beer frame (5th frame). We'll even pay a buck to bowl. Between the 6 of us and 3 games every week we should have a nice fund. Even if it pays for a nice meal somewhere. Tony and I were thinking of the Polynesian Luau (if they still have it) or if we have enough money saved up, Cirque tickets or MNSSHP tickets.

Mostly it'll be a way of spending time with family and getting a little exercise at the same time.

I'll be "working" :lmao: today but since the bosses are gone.....well you get the picture. DISSING FOR MG TODAY!!! :rotfl2:

That sounds like fun, Nancy! I hope you win--take the $$ and go get a manicure/pedicure before the cruise...lol.

This sounds fun, too! The kids got that new Buzz game--Think Fast, Disney version, so maybe we'll do that. We are supposed to hang out with our neighbors, but I'm not sure that's still the plan.

That sounds like fun, we just hang out with the neighbors and eat Frozen stuff from Sam's and play games- cards and try to stay up until 12. I am hoping for a nap when I get home from work today.

We're waiting to see if we get a refund for the fuel surcharge, so with that as a OBC and the small OBC from our US TA, that will cover some of the tips.

I'll have to look for that...is it PS2 or PS3. I went to buy a new game this Chrsitmas only to find that it was PS3 and won't work on my system.

What's this?

The cost of fuel over the past months has gone down and as a consequence the fuel surcharge that DCL charged us went down. If you pre-booked the BOB some time ago (like the majority) we have to wait and see if the cost of fuel remains low over 2 quarters and then we will get a refund the the shape of OBC.

Jeff could explain it better.:thumbsup2

OK, I'm now the thread killer. Where did everyone go?????:guilty: :scared:

Nancy - it's so quiet here today. I keep sending emails and getting back 'out of office' replies. Only Muggings is working today. Like you said..DIS time.

maybe we'll buy a puppy.NOT. :lmao: at least i'm hoping i've been good enough to get a smoocher at 12:00:love:

So there's nothing we should do now, but in a couple of months we would call our TA and ask for the credit? JEFFY--will you let us know when we have to do this?
