For the most part. Find out today if my car will be considered "totaled" after a small accident that still did a lot of damage to my car. That's what happens when you hit a dump truck and then a semi I guess.

Wow, I missed your posts! What happened? It doesn't sound like a small accident. Are you ok?

I'm fine. It was a slow impact in the wrong spots with very large vehicles. Cars these days are costly just to have a bumper fixed if it cracks.

I did just call the body shop and they are under $6,000 with about 99% of the estimate done. Even if the insurance company takes the low valuation that Kelly Blue Book has ($1,500 less than Edmunds and NADA), it will still not pass the 70% level of beeing totaled.

Glad you're ok.
Sorry the car isn't.:headache:

I'll have to scan the one Suz has. I don't think I have one of the whole group from our camera, just from Shutters.

I'm back...look forward to seeing it.

I'm back too. Just ran downtown to get a board member to sign checks. Have a little more work to do and then I'm out of here. It is my day off you know.

It's not mine...I also have another 1.5 days left.

Wow cool! 1654 books! I love books!
What kind of books did you get?

Or did I misread this and you got books about the year 1654?:rotfl: :confused3

The books will be Rosie's

Hi all! I am back to work and doing the important things like catching up on the posts.:surfweb: I will post pictures of my doggies as soon as Tommy gets home to help me. I am technologically challenged. :confused3 I am so glad that everyone had a good holiday. Ours was wonderful.

Jeff I am glad that it as your car that was damaged and not you.

Cass Kira is so cute!! I can not wait to see her in person.

Kathy I can not wiat to read your report from WDW in a couple of weeks.

I have a question for the ones that were in WDW the last few weeks. How were the crowds and was it worth fighting the crowd. We are thinking about going next year between Christmas and New Year. The kids will not be able to go because it is peak season at UPS and they can not get off so I guess it will just be me and Tommy. I feel so bad leaving the precious children for that long.:rolleyes1

Evening Leisha. Glad you're back with us.

SNAP....Me too! Who woulda thought!;) :rotfl:

Loved the scarves...did you knit them yourself? Nearly lost the red one to my MIL.

I did, well sort of, I have this thing that helps me cheat. Being a lefty it is hard for me to learn and this way is a lot easier.

We were there the weekend before Christmas. We were in MK early Saturday morning and could ride what we wanted (though our goal was to soak up the atmosphere and decor) then at EPCOT that afternoon till about 9 that night. EPCOT was definitely more crowded than MK had been in the morning; however, we went back to MK that night just to get pictures of the castle. We got there just in time for the night parade and it was a parking lot!!!! We got our pictures and got out of there, and it was literally baby steps on the way out with two of us getting run over by strollers. We did not like the crowd that night. We detoured through stores on Main Street to get out of it, but it was quite crowded. Now given - this was what I had expected during the day, so I was pleasantly surprised in the daytime. I also expected not to be able to get back into MK - thinking it would be at capacity that close to Christmas - so while I wasn't surprised, I still didn't care for it.

Is it worth it - That really depends on why you're going and how you tolerate crowds. They did have 50% off on all decorations - that was amazing! If you're going to ride rides though, I'd be ready to face long lines and early fastpass capacities.

That's me done for tonight.
