I'm waiting to call in around 8:00. They are just waiting for me to call in so they don't have to pay me. Then they'll close and go home. JERKS!!! But, I'm telling them that I'll be in this afternoon if it get's better. That way, they have to stay too.

I would call them and tell them you are on your way. About 30-45 minutes later, call them back and say the roads are too slippery right now and that you'll come in after noon when the snow stops and the roads get cleared a little better.

Of course this will all be done from your home and you don't actually leave.

Maybe they'll not even be in there to answer and they'll close the office. Just keep them thinking you're coming in.

Chuck just left for work. I'm curious to see how long it takes for him to get there.

The guy who plows our lot at work called me to see if we're open today (he'll make a quick pass now and then clean it up later since we're not in). He said the roads are awful out there and he drives in this stuff every storm. He said going downtown is a mess. He said he saw a city bus slipping around.

He plowed one client and by the time he was completely done (1 hour) there was already an inch on the area he first plowed.

Kristin got stuck and Jesse had to come to push her out. She went back home and will try again at noon too. Chuck made it in ok but he said it is just awful out there. People are actually driving without their headlights on! Tons of cars in ditches too.

I gave my Dad a membership to the Beer of the Month Club . He loves it! He invites his friends over when he gets a shipment and they compare.

This year, I got my Mom a monthly fresh flower arrangement. She loves flowers.

I also give them a bottle of Dom Perignon every CHristmas and they drink it on New Year's.

My brother gives my mother a fresh flower arrangement every last Friday of the month. She loves it. Di

According to my Buddy List, I'm all alone here. Chuck went Christmas shopping with Kristin so it's just me and Cabo. Think I'll finish up my second Love Boat dvd.

SW Wisconsin is expecting 12 inches of snow tomorrow. I might be taking a snow-day. Where's Cheryl when you need her? Am I supposed to wear my jammies inside out tonight??

Patrick arrived yesterday with the girlfriend, she is styaing until Sunday. Then he leaves the 26th for Key West with her family. Scott came over last night for dinner. It was nice to have them both.

I am having Mass said Saturday for my brother. So I told them I expect them both there for their Grandmother.

It is amazing how the kids will come through for their grandparents. I think my mom has seen my kids more in the last few weeks than I have. I like to think it is because of our schedules not because she is a much better cook and she spoils them. How is your mom? Next week will be rough for all of you. If you decide that you want to run away from home you can always come north.

Good morning everyone...

There's big snow on the way here! It sounds like we will get about a foot. I didn't put my kettle workers out today as I don't want to be rushing around when the snow is falling an inch or more an hour as predicted.

My parents came to down from Maine last night as they have tickets to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, so they went into NYC today. Fortunately, they took the train and will only have to drive back to our place from New Haven (about 50 miles). However, it should be quite the mess when they make that trek up I-95 tonight.

Good morning all!
Last night was a hoot.. Cass and I have decided we will have a girls night more often..lol The baby shower was very nice and the baby was sooooooooo adorable.. I am so out of practice with babies..sigh my youngest turns 16 next week
I get to have dinner again with Cass and Rob's coming this time aswell at my favorite resturant in the world MONGOLIE GRILL!!!!!

We lucked out, only getting rain here as the temps got a bit warmer than first predicted. Just a little west of here they are getting ice and sn*w.
