good morning all!

I sit here on my last day of work before Christmas break enjoying my cup of coffee with a splash of Baileys..mmmmm :surfweb: and I was trying not to stress out over everything I still need to do... when it occured to me that why am I stressing.. true I STILL need to do my baking.. but you know what after all the years of stuggling to make ends meet I have to admit I am truly blessed this year (this might be the Baileys letting me loosen up btw :lmao: ). Our kids got almost everything they wanted, we have a cruise for the first time in our future, and all the trimmings of a home all be it rented. It's funny when I think back to after my first divorced I cried while I wrapped used toys for my kids because that was all I could afford and if a friend hadn't joined us and brought a turkey it would have been Mac and cheese for all. So after this long babble and walk down memory lane I feel very compelled to throw a huge THANK YOU!! to those who have helped me in the past and offer my help to those in the future so that every time they think back on their lives they realize that every year gets a little better and smile with the realization of how important friends and family truly are to make you feel rich on the inside!

so to all on this board and any who pass through I wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS!! and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

well said bernie.:santa: :santa:

my mom always comments about how when my older brother and i were young, she and my dad never had much money and my sis and younger brothers got a lot more after we had moved out. that always made her feel bad. :sad1: but i told her, we were always extreemly happy with what we got.(and probably appreciated it a lot more too):grouphug:

HI MIMI
WE also have booked SSR like you we can't book AKV like you until the 7 month mark.
As it stands now when we go down before the Cruise we will stay at OKW .
Like last year Joanne and Roger are picking us up and go to the Raddison then to Port with them then after the cruise stay at AKV. We also hope to do MMNSSHP that is the plan.

Kathy - Glad you got to mom and dad's okay! It was SOOOOOOO good to see you at EPCOT - I just wish it had been for longer!!!

Hi Everyone! Kathy - Great job on the report and the sale report!!! The sales were amazing - absolutely AMAZING!!!! I am posting a picture of the mini-meet sans Paige and Rob or Melody and Eb. This is not the most flattering picture of some of us (notice the halo over Kathy's head though - she is an angel!!!) but everyone had our French CM take one with their cameras, so maybe some of us are in different stages of fromage in some of the other pictures. :rotfl: It was really fun to saee Kathy again. I truly enjoyed meeting Karen, Neil, and Ellis as well as Cheryl, Al, and Rachel - what a beautiful young lady! It was short but sweet, and it has made me really look forward to October. Mack had a great time trying to get a soccer ball Ellis defended - the boy has skillz!!! True to form, Karen taught me some more English - England does not use cell phones but mobiles. :thumbsup2 I love learning! Our time was short, but thanks to our hosts, Kamy and Steve who plan to come on the Bash, it was WONDERful!!!!! Disney at Christmas is amazing!

Mack and I attended the Candlelight Processional that night after dinner at Rose and Crown - Karen had told me that as far as being true to its background, R&C was "Okay." I enjoyed my dinner very much - especially my husband's cheese tray. As to the Candlelight Processional - All I can say is I hope Disney always believes in keeping Christ in Chirstmas in such a grand way - the CP is absolutely something everyone should experience at least once. Abigail Breslin was delightful as the narrator, and there is something very special about having a young person read the Christmas story int hat fashion. The talent of the singers and the musicians was absolutely incredible, but the conductor was a force with which to be reckoned. He was outstanding!!! We even took video of him though I haven't looked at it yet to test quality. I'll post it if it is worthy of his talent.

Now for the meet picture -

Great picture, everyone! I am so sorry we couldn't make it. We are moving A LOT slower this trip. I had every intention on getting there when I got up that morning, but after going all day with no rest, I just couldn't make it. I am now making it a point to get back to the hotel for a nap midday....

WDW is beautiful. The crowds are thick, but it was just as bad last July, to be honest. Yesterday, I wanted to get up on a box and yell, "We are in a recession, people, what are you all doing here?" Then I realized that most of the visitors are from other countries.....

Have a very blessed holiday, y'all!

Whew!!! Was sweating that one out, Lina's final Christmas gift arrived a few minutes ago. Luckily, she was in the bathroom getting ready for a night out with some of her friends when the UPS truck arrived. I quickly ran outside and caught the driver just as he was getting ready to knock on the door. I took the package and locked it in our car until Lina leaves, then I can bring it in and Hazel can wrap it!!! :goodvibes
