Great News:

Paige went home from the hospital today!! And the post-surgical MRI confirmed that her doctors removed 100% of the tumor!

That's just the kind of thing that should happen on Thanksgiving!

Dont think we havew vista? - its taken me 3 goes this morning just to connect to the internet so theres still something wrong even though theres nothing left on the pc I've lost all my favourites, websites, software, the lot

It is probably slow because you've lost all the pages you had in cache (memory). It will get better.

Great photos Cass. Love the cake cake and the t.shirt. I take it that she's into Dalmations at the moment.

She`s just now starting to outgrow it (and is finally willing to watch other movies ) but yes, she loves Dalmatians! She went through her `puppy`phase for about 2-3 months...all she ever wanted to watch was either 101 Dalmatians or 101 Dalmatians II I know every word now

I noticed the other day when I was trying to use Photobucket as well. It's confusing and annoying and I also much preferred the old way. Most of their upgrades are pretty good, but this one doesn't seem to do anything useful.

Well, I figured out how to get rid of the `scroll over` with your mouse, but I don`t think there is a way to do the automatic copying anymore

Ouch, Kathy hit me right in the kisser with a snowball this morning. I was just too tired to duck. I read about 275 water meters this morning and I have another 145 to read after lunch. Speaking of which, it's about time I get ready to head back out the door.

Lina was supposed to get done work at noon today, but we haven't heard from her yet, so she must still be working, more $$ for her!!!

Well, it's a bit late now, but I use Carbonite to autobackup my computer. Ages ago I suffered a catastrophic HD failure and lost a TON of work on my family tree. Luckily, I have hardcopies in my filing cabinet and was able to reconstruct but it was terribly time-consumining. The Carbonite was a welcome peice of mind!

What a day, I am so glad it is over, only trouble is, I have another busy day planned for tomorrow...........

Lina got done at the mall just as I was getting done work. I told Hazel I would go pick her up as the traffic around the mall was unbeliveable. Lina wanted to stop at a couple other stores on the way home. Then once we got home Lina asked me to help her color her hair as she has a party to attend this evening. A group of kids Lina graduated with are getting together since quite a few of them are home from college for the Thanksgiving weekend. We finally got her hair done(it looks nice), now I'm relaxing in my Lazy Boy and catching my breath, at least for a few minutes.

We are having a late dinner tonight, bye for now.........

Love the pics. Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves. I have never heard of the shoe game that is a cute idea.

I never heard of it either. One of the bridesmaids told us about it. It was fun checking her shoes to see who's name was worn off first.

So, who's going shopping tomorrow at 5AM???

I was just watching some TV and saw all the US commercials for tomorrow's big sales!! Wouldn't catch me in those crowds!

Chuck and I were on the road by 4:00 am and got all our shopping done by noon. I even received a phone call at around 5:00 am from a good friend who picked up a gift that I was looking for for the Tuna. Thanks J&M !!

Hiya Bernie! I was thinking about you this morning when I made our coffee. You said you had cinnamon coffee the other day. Whenever I make it, my coffee maker explodes with coffee grounds. I just sprinkle a teeny bit right in the dry grounds but it always explodes on us. How do you make yours?

I had hot apple cider with orange juice and a cinnamon stick. OMG....was that ever good!!!

hmm well I put maybe 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and mix it well in the grounds.. you might have to cut your coffee a bit..or you can get a cinnamon stick and put it into the pot either way works I figgured it all out after a few messes myself..lol

Just got back from seeing BOLT in 3-D & DLP. We loved it! Although we did have one kid in the theater that got very upset towards the end of the movie when something happened to Penny & Bolt - he started screaming 'Mommy Nooooo!' It was cute that he was so caught up in the story but I felt really sorry for him

I have a feeling that 'sticking a pin in that idea' is going to catch on at the office!
