Heather - Great list! Where did you go whale watching? Was it a cruise?

I'm back now...we had friends over for dinner last night and had to pop over to Mum and Dad's this morning. So, to answer you question Mimi...we saw whales whilst on our Cruise to Alaska in 2007. It was wonderful.

You must be on your way to Kira's birthday party, right?

We have spent the whole afternoon and evening at the Great Wolf Lodge. Wow a cool place. Asiah, Elijah my grandkids, Erika my daughter and I had a ball playing in the waterpark. The slides, lazy river, and wave pool were so much fun. At first I was chilly in the water but I got use to it. Now we are in our room. Our room is really neat. Two queen beds and a sofa that makes in to a bed. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. We had cake for grandkids birthday. Elijah will be 11 Dec 10th and Asiah was 8 on Nov 5th. My daughter gave this night here at the resort for their birthday. Daughter invited me too. I was so excited. Kids are playing Phase 10. Walt stayed home. I think he would have loved the room but he is not much for water slides. We will spend the day tomorrow at the waterpark as long as the kids want to. Then we will go back to my daughters and hang out. We will go to her work on Monday. They are having a Christmas bazaar and Santa will be there so kids will have fun. We love to go to her work. Lots of fun. We can sit and eat at the restaurant and watch the planes land and take off. Monday night we will go ice skating. Kids love to skate. A couple of Erika's friends will come with us. Probably go home on Tuesday as long as the flights are not too full. Diane

You sound as if you had a great time Di. Any pics?

I'm quite organised for next Oct though.

Flights - booked

Villa - booked

cruise - booked

Itinary - quite organised

Still need to organise car hire

(oh.... and pay for everything:scared1: :lmao: )

Well we've still got a few things to do...We've booked our DVC hotel for the first two nights and we have the Radison booked. Still to arrange flights...waiting for Frequent Flier lines to open with Virgin for October. Then we still have to arrange DVC for the days after the BOB and then finally the car hire.

I finished my xmas tree yesterday:banana:

It looks nice, although it seems so small compared to our usual one.

This one is only 6 foot tall and is a "slim" tree.

My normal one is 8 foot and very wide in comparison. I can only fit 1/3 of my ornaments on:sad2:

Roll on December 7th:woohoo: (thats our "christmas day" this year).

I'm all sorted for christmas... just got to finish the grandparents basket hampers but I'm still waiting for some final items to arrive so I cant wrap them yet. I managed to find some red see through celophane and a huge red bow on ebay so they should look really christmasy:yay:

Ellis got his letter off "Santa" in yesterdays post too. ;)

It was brilliant. it mentioned all personal things like his karate belts and that Santa knew he was on hol for christmas etc. He was really chuffed:cutie:

Anyway, looks like I'm the only saddo on here right now, so I'll be back later when there's people to chat to.:rolleyes1

Come on Karen..picture please. It really is quiet today - no one around to spoil my FO.

the wedding was very nice.(from what i saw).

"NO DAWGS ALLOWED" sign.
so robin went in and i watched from outside. i peeked thru the stain-glassed
windows.:thumbsup2 from what i saw, nancy was sitting next to some lady who looked amazingly like BigRed.
Karen - you certainly are the organizer! Do post pictures of your tree please. I know you will all have a wonderful time on your trip! I hope the parents like the hampers!

Not much planned for today. Some housework and some DVR watching. Too cold for the bikes or the beach.

Happy Sunday all. I am so looking forward to a short week.

Still sounds like a good, cozy day!!!
