Go first thing and get a fast pass, they go very quickly. We go them at 9:30 for 6pm.

 Really!:scared1: - holy cow!

That's a good attitude Karen! Say hello to Spiderman for me - his ride is my favorite at Universal.

We thought it was best to just get there early and wait in the queue. The Fast Pass line was almost as long as the ride queue! But if you can split up, one of you can get in each queue and then you can go back later with the Fast Pass.

Neil and I do the "big" rides as single riders so that line does seem a bit quicker than the regular line. Unfortunately we cant afford the Universal "front of line" passes so we'll be the suckers waiting in line while all the rich people sail on by:rolleyes: I sooooo wish Univ did the same as Disney and did FREE fast passes:sad2:

Oh well,.... what we dont do at christmas we'll do in October:woohoo:

I just figured out (sort of) how to play wii with people on line!:yay:

Ellis' friends Dad talked me through part way then we both got stuck. I clicked on something by accident and it worked!:yay:

Ellis was screaming his head off with glee as he whizzed past his friend on Mario Karts:lmao:

I have no idea what other games can be played online though:confused3

Anyway, I'm off to drink wine:rolleyes1

G night:goodvibes

Hi Guys....I'm here tonight, just to catch up.

Well.............to make a long story short, we arrived home a little bit ago from getting our portrait taken. We kind of had a change in attire as we didn't use the Disney sweaters afterall. The first pic is of the three of us. :)

Lovely photos Andy.

What date and what seats Heather? Sean, Cath and Olivia and my lot are on the same flight.

We fly out on 21st October from Gatwick at 11.15am. PE seats but not sure of the numbers.

Just back from the funeral mass for the baby. OMG there is nothing worse. With just losing my brother it was twice as bad. The choir did ok. I guess we were not all crying at the same time so there was some music.

Sorry to hear your sad news. Seems to be worse this time of year. Love the photos BTW, especially the one of the castle all lit up.

Looks like this thread might close tonight...so I'll say good night as me and my cold are off to bed. Yes, I'm thick with flu.

I'll speak tomorrow, no doubt on thread 16.

We had a record high of 66* today, tomorrow we will be having a wintry mix of rain/ice/sn*w........:headache: :headache: :headache:

I've only glanced back a few pages here and there but it seems like Joanne could use a few of these..., Christian & Elaine get one of these...:thumbsup2 , Ellis get's .....:yay: , Karen gets...:worship: (for being civil to her mum), and a few BOBer's get... before their trips to WDW.

Mike, I love your buttons. Until I saw Brenda wearing them, I didn't even know they existed. Now, I'll be sure to ask for a few when we visit the world.
:)

So, we went to see the Titanic Exhibit yesterday with the kids. A very humbling experience. Very sad and very interesting all in one. We all took on the name of an actual passenger onboard the Titanic. I was a 50 year old woman in first class. My Titanic son sneaked his girlfriend onboard and bought her a first class ticket. Turns out that the passenger Stacy picked was my son's girlfriend!! Weird!!!:scared1: I won't tell any of the details of the tour because I believe other's may be going before it leaves the Milwaukee area, but of the six of us, 3 of us survived and 3 of us were lost.:sad2:

Holy Smokes.........Lina just called The Disney Store for her "On-Call" and they actually need her tonight, she works 7-11:30, looks like dad will be losing a little sleep tonight(I won't let Hazel drive to the mall that late). Might not make it to Riverwinds tomorrow morning, but Lina's getting some hours in, and that's more important!!!

Good morning everyone.
They sent them to WDW. I guess it makes sense that they usually send them there since Disney owns ABC.

It was a neat experience. Elaine experienced a little more than me as she was there for the reveal and will was in some camera shots. It was really neat seeing how fast they built the house. That really intrigued me.
I saw one recently where they sent the family to Niagara Falls. They were from somewhere up north, so that made sense too - was just wondering! I know you had fun with that.

Mimi - Did you actually miss an F.O.? I don't believe it!

Yep - posted and went straight back to where I left off without even seeing where it posted - oh well, my sister got it, so it's all good!

1/2 hour left of work then home I go.. I need a nap today..lol then I have to get the lasagna made for lunch tomorrow... sigh sometimes I wonder why I volunteer for this everytime??:confused3 other than I love the smiles of happy well fed people..lol :goodvibes

and I STILL have to put my christmas tree up... I cannot beleive I haven't gotten to it before this.. tsk tsk to myself.. just seems like we have been busy every night!:headache:

Who has been to Restaurant Marakesh at EPCOT and what do you suggest ordering there? We got a PS for the CP for Satruday night! Yippee!

Was there on my honeymoon. Too bad that was in 1993, so I think the menu has changed. I got something chicken, that's all I remember. It was really good though.

Wow, that sounds very interesting Nancy, I haven't heard of this exhibit before. Wonder if it will travel this way.

HI MIMI

Nancy and I have eaten there twice and loved it . It's all good. The Sample Platter is real good it gives you a taste of all their food.
Mack will love the BELLY DANCERS:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DAN

Hey Nancy and Dan - Oh it's really something small but big in effect. Remember the luggage tags they had for our bags the night before we got off? We had to put tags on them before we placed the bags in the hall by midnight. The tags have different Disney characters - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Tink... We got some extras - 2 of each. Today I took the strings out, took two of the same tag and glued the sides together that you would normally write on - name, address, etc... I put a string back in and now we have 6 new Disney ornaments with the DCL logo too! They're adorable! Since they're now double sided, it doesn't matter which way they face on the tree either. Best of all, they are a great reminder of just how special that Members' Cruise and the people we met were!

Thanks MIMI

THATS WHAT WE GUESSED IT WAS

Dan

This is Mack - sorry for using Mimi's ID but hers is always on and I'd have to boot mine up - anyway - thanks Dan, I'm sure we will enjoy the food, but I really don't like the belly dancing thing. I kind of look at it like this, I wouldn't be comfortable with my wife or daughter doing that in public so I'm not comfortable with someone else's wife or daughter doing that either. I'll just enjoy the food and look in another direction.
