YES! Grotto Pizza is EXCELLENT! We have one about 4 miles from our house -- it's supposed to be the original Grotto location, actually (I think). We have it delivered occasionally to our house. It's really good...their sauce is really awesome.

Mel, have you ever had Grotto Pizza?? We think that is among the best pizza. I might have a pic...Let me see. If it isn't on photobucket, Ill have to turn on my laptop to upload one. I am on my work laptop right now. Woohoo! It is on photobucket. Here is a pic of Grotto Pizza.

I think my parents said the original Grotto is at Harvey's Lake. When they were teens, my grandfather had a boat at Harvey's Lake.

We enjoy Grotto Pizza at Rehoboth Beach, but when we drive through Wilkes Barre on I-81, we wil stop at Grotto if it is mealtime at the Wyoming Valley Mall.

YES! That's only about 4 miles from my house. In fact, after undergrad I lived at Harvey's Lake for about 3 years. My boyfriend at the time and I used to go there on Sundays to watch races. That place is huge! Now EB and I take the kids there occasionally for supper and to ride around the Lake. That's the location that delivers to our house. In fact, when EB was younger and into his teens his father owned a house out there as well as his grandfather.

We sometimes go to the Wyoming Valley Mall is good, too and they have a nice sports bar. We also have a Grotto in Edwardsville which is about 10 miles from where I live.

It's so funny to hear you talk about those locations!

Hey wanted to comment on what a great job you did on your Vegas report.

My girlfriend, who overworks, is stressed out caring for her Alzheimer's Dad, and whose husband is absolutely no fun at all ....
well, her sister decided Judy really needed a vacation. And Judy really hasn't traveled too much so anyhoo...... her sister planned a trip to Vegas for them both. Neither had been before.

So...TA DA! I sent them a link to your wonderful trip report so that they'd have some ideas of fun things to do see and eat!

They both checked it out last weekend and loved it and arrived in Vegas yesterday

Yeah! Sean's coming home! For Christmas too.
Then we'll be going down to Florida for family weekend during Valentine weekend.
Then we won't see him until the end of July



He was very chatty with me last weekend when I called him, we spoke for 2 hours! I finally had to cut him off
Usually he tells me he's "too busy" or "you've got 5 minutes!" or else he just doesn't answer his phones (or emails either)

But once in that great while JACKPOT! I'm his best buddy again

Hope he likes me while he's home for the holidays!

I'm sure you'll be best of friends when he's home. Enjoy your time together.

Good "TGIF" morning to you all!!

I am sorry for not posting last night but I was playing a online game that just released it's expansion pack... yes I am a online gamer geek

Just popped in to say hello and to prove I am going to be logging in more often and getting to know you guys so when cruise time comes I can at least say hi without feeling like I should stand in the corner
um that puppy pic that someone posted... AWWWW! can I trade my pyscho killer dog in for that one?? hehehe
I am also going to show my daughter this link so she can get to know you guys.. she will be almost 17 when the cruise comes around... wow I am getting old.. and my son will be almost 19... um yeah getting old.. so that they can make some friends on here and then they will not be pasted to my side the entire trip..lol

anyways I should get back to work.. going to log in tonight so I don't miss any boat talk and get some helpful hints on where to go at the port stops!

Yesterday was Bob's birthday 42!

Nothing fancy, we just went out to a wine tasting Wednesday eve, then out to breakfast Thursday morning and out to dinner with his mom in the evening.

I got him a new ZUNE mp3 player for his birthday. Coolness


Still haven't convinced Bob to join the cruise named after him

What.....not even if we all have his pic on our shirts and at the terminal?
