I would like to buy Chuck a GPS system for Christmas but I want one that doesn't ask for a monthly charge and one that is super easy to use. One that speaks and is very detailed with the directions.

Any suggestions???

I want you to understand that it was never involving DIET! Not Diet Coke/Diet Pepsi.
For some reason (in my own humble observations) it doesn't always work that way.
Stick to the basics....Coke/Pepsi

Rick has a couple...Garmin and Tom Tom. He found that Tom Tom works great in the US. Unsure about charges and everything else.
