10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat (I'm with B.O.B) Thread #14

5:00am?? We are taking our 2nd break by 500am. Best Buy is normally our first stop...230 to 300a waiting in line. Last year we were about 450 people back in line. Everyone took off running to the front of the store thinking they were handing door busters out. Come to find out they were handing out hot cocoa. So 700 people try to get back in the line where they were. I went back and got in line, close to where we were. But I couldnt find Janice. I called her on the cell and asked where she was. To my surprise she says..standing in line. In front!!! Thats my girl!!! We were closer to the front of line than people that had actually camped out from the night before.

450-700 people. That is the reason why I don't go to Best Buy the day after thanksgiving.

Good job on getting the number 1 spot though.

people watching is the best part. Im kinda weird when it comes to that. Most guys dont like crowds. I on the other hand love crowds. The more the merrier. Strike up conversations with strangers. Tis the season. Most people are happy to be out there. Some are crazy but most are in a good, fun mood.

Last year...lets see...we got this lap top at half off, a Tom Tom at 1/2 off, several cds, dvds. Like Nancy we are normally done and home by noon or so.

How are the party Preparations coming?

Not much to prepare really, I don't go all crazy though. I will put up some balloons and streamers and I bought a few 101 Dalmatians stuff (it's dalmatian themed cus Kira is obsessed with them LOL!) and I made her a little white shirt that says "It's my 2nd birthday"

This is very interesting Cass. Not sure I could deal with the -20c for to long though. They sure is purdy though!

Yeah, I don't do well with -20 either But it doesn't last long, thank goodness!

yup Kira dictates how long the visits are..lol and in a restraunt that means alot.. but we will be over there on Sunday for Kiras B-day and Cass and I are schedualing cruise info nights when our husbands are DJ'ing so we will bombard the board with our twin powers of laptopinessessess.. hmm new word I think..lol

How far are you guys apart?

Wish we lived closer to all you guys

we live in the same city and about 20 min apart the husbands see each other every weekend almost and cass and I meet when we can it will be alot more often now that Kira is settled in routines and such (my kids are practically grown! I started eary lol) and we cause trouble and tend to make poor Rob blush when we are together..lol I'm a tad crass for him i thinkbut it makes Cass laugh and that is always good! :

Nobody has ever made me laugh more!!! And I love to laugh

we did wdw at xmas time about 2, maybe 3 years ago. Early December. Great time with the people and everything with xmas lights. The Osbourne Spectacle of lights was unbelievable!!
