Just watched the 400m womens - we got gold and bronze

Sorry - we took the gold off USA - it showed the underwater shot and the USA girl had her hand bent upwards instead of pointing forward - that tiny difference cost her the gold.

So I told Kira that Uncle Chris and Auntie Hazel were in California and the next thing I knew she was on Google Maps looking it up!

I actually DID have Megan using the computer when she was 6 months old! There was a program called "Jump Start Baby" (one in a series). All she had to do was touch a key or move the mouse and something would happen on screen. The series is an educational series to teach colors and shapes all the way through reading and math. Sarah, however, was a little too hard on the keyboard! So, she didn't get to play as much.

I'm always packing for something or other (even though I have 4 months to go I've started thinking about packing - makes the time go by quicker

Neil found me a nice white merlot the other day - not tried it before but its lovely.

I didn't know there was such a thing--white merlot. I'll have to look out for it. I've been drinking wine Rob bought in the Sky Mall magazine.....pretty good actually.

Talking of wine.......

Brenda - you'd have ran a mile on holiday -

They sold wine in.......... the plastic bottles you get water in (I rememebr you're not a fan of boxes - this goes one better )

Its was 2.2 euros so about £2 /$4 for 1.5 litres - not the classiest of bottles but it tastest great

It was literally as cheap as the water over there. They actually give a half carafe of wine away in lots of restaurants if you order a meal.
