Thanks! This one passed pretty quietly though. Beth and I celebrated a combined birthday last Tuesday. We took the kids to the Kennedy Center to see The Lion King. It was amazing. At the beginning of the performance, the cast came marching though the aisles in animal costumes. Sarah DD8 had this wonderful look of astonishment and disbelief when the Elephant came down the aisle. Too bad I couldn't have had a camera then.

(If you can keep a secret...I married an older woman. Beth is four days older than I am. )

We also saw the Lion King this past February. It was amazing! We had some terrific seats, 8th row from the front.

It was! I was fine the first week, but by the 2nd week, I had had enough of the crowds.

It's only been two months since we were at WDW. But seeing your pics, I want to go back. (Of course, we were only there one day before the cruise.)

Before Beth and I had kids, we took a 15 day trip to WDW one year. We finally found the limit of our endurance. Toward the end, we started going to movies at DTD. Normally I wouldn't have "wasted time" going to the movies since that is something I could do at home, but you get tired of the crowds and spending too much time in the parks. I think the best length of vacation is the one that leaves you wanting just one more day. That means you almost accomplished everything you wanted and didn't waste time.

Hey, Verandy, just a little FYI for you....the busses were horrible at OKW! We used our car for transportation. It took us over an hour to get to MK (from the time we got to the bus stop to the time we were dropped off). One lady at one of the bus stops complained that they had been waiting for 40 minutes, and her mother was in a wheel chair.

Was the OKW bus combined with another resort? It is nice when you have a car available at places like OKW. That is one of the reasons that we are driving down in November. I hate it when we just miss the bus and have to wait FOREVER.
