Other locations we're looking at would be:

DC/Williamsburg
Niagara Falls, with a stop in Hershey, PA
Mt. Rushmore and a National Park or two in WY or CO
Ozark Mtns in MO/AR​

Anyone think one is better than the other?

I vote for Mt Rushmore and National Park. I love taking my kids to new places even if they won't appreciate it until they have kids.

hershey park is fun though. Niagara falls is neat but very touristy.

Have never been to the Ozarks.

I think you should come to Destin we have the prettiest beaches.

Worked through lunch because severe thunderstorms were predicted for this afternoon and I wanted to get the meter book done before the storm(s) hit. Good thing I did too, just as I got finished the rain started......

The Gulf is on my list (i.e. Biloxi and Pensacola). I think we'll try closer first since it will be DS's first road trip. Been on flying trips about 20-25 times, but those are never over 4 1/2 hours.

Have you been up to the SE corner of TN at all?
