Evening Mike

I think the company flew to NYC today. I haven't spoken to Lori this evening, but I think she is expecting you anytime.:goodvibes

Paige, I'm loving the disney pics! Also the dinner pic made me wish we had stayed longer at Lori's and come up. However, we had the drive home and our dad is an early to bed, early to rise kind of guy.;)

random thought.....
with the star like attention plankton is getting these days, wouldnt you think brenda should be cashing in on it? she should be getting royalty checks from all the outfits planky has been wearing.
she could quit her job in high finance.:thumbsup2

buy anything good?? disney stuff?:wizard: :wizard:

Baby Shower gifts for my niece, then food shopping at BJ's and one last stop at Best Buy, all this after having dinner at Friendly's, where I had a chicken salad and no dessert.........;)

So yesterday Big Red started her journey to California. Today California has an earthquake....coincidence...I think not!

sean did call and ask robin to try and talk you into buying a red wig for the repo.:cloud9: :lovestruc

Yep, he's been pretty disappointed in the fact that I have to color my hair to get rid of the gray, which also covers the natural red highlights. I was actually a strawbery blonde when I was little. Now I am an unnaturally light brown with blonde highlights.
Oh and he will just be fine with the 2 red dresses I have packed.

Signing off for the night, see ya on the flip side........:wave2:

OK, my Disney Cruise experience from May is finally complete. :goodvibes :cloud9:

While we were on our 3 Night Bahamas cruise on the Wonder, I struggled with a decision on the last day of the cruise.

I saw a wonderful watch in Treasure Ketch that I really liked. I only buy a watch every few years. I have my normal work watch (bought at Costco) that I wear every day. This watch was more of a dress watch and it looked and felt great on my arm. I wrestled with the decision whether or not to buy it. Apparently I took some sort of oath to myself to not spend anymore money after booking a "spur of the moment" Disney Cruise. Well, I didn't buy it. :sad2: I told myself that even with duty free, it couldn't be that great a deal. (At least not at the price it was marked.)

I got home and checked online stores, ebay, etc. :surfweb: Guess what!? DCL was a very good deal after all. Not only was the watch more expensive, even online, but it wasn't readily available anymore most places.

After periodic checks on EBay, I finally found one with a Buy It Now! price less than what DCL was selling it for. (You see, I couldn't just buy the watch for full price. It didn't count unless I could get it for less than it was being sold for on DCL.) Well, I finally got the watch, and I saved about 10% over the DCL price. :wizard:

The moral of the story is...

If you are on a Disney Cruise and see something that you want to splurge on (within reason), go for it! Don't count on finding it later when you get home.

Walt/Di,

Sorry to hear about your Nephew. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Just making a quick stop by to say hi.

Another late night for me. Last night I went until 4:00 a.m. this morning, getting up at 6:00. I'll go down here in a bit tonight, but get up around 5:00.

The end is almost near, but so is the Repo. I have had NO time to even think about the Repo. I will get done with my audit and will be leaving almost the next day on the trip. The time from now until then will fly.

16 days to go FO

You must be counting days until you leave for the trip.

I'm down to 15 as of right now. That means I'm at the mid-way point. 15 days to go for my 15 nights on the ship. :cool1:

In reality I'm past half way since it is 18 nights on vacation. I can't wait to do nothing for 2 1/2 weeks. Although, I will have my laptop with me.
