Hazel has that look in her eye now every time i put something on from the wardrobe...You ladies know the look am talking about,that "You need that for your holidays look"....wouldn't it be far easier to get out for us what were allowed to wear for the next 3 weeks?....

Oh Chris - I'm doing the very same look to Neil - I'm like "you've got to be kidding me - we have 7 days and you want to wear it? - no chance - wear a jumper

Ok, I will confess to doing this to my DH also....fortunately his clothes he wears to work (dress shirts and slacks) rarely come with us on vacation. So, I will hide the clothes we're taking on vacation or pack REALLY early.....

Good morning/afternoon all....

Last day of work (I hope) until my vacation...I might have to come in for a couple of hours tomorrow....

Karen - I have not seen Wall-E yet, but my Mom took Thomas, and he got very upset in the middle of it, when something happened to Wall-E. He wanted to leave the theater. Mom made him stay (she said - having faith in Disney/Pixar that everything would turn out ok and have a happy ending) and he wants us to buy him the video for his birthday, so I guess he liked it after all.

Andy - Good for you! Keep it up!

Mel - great pics! I loved the one with Ernie "painting you" with frosting - Thomas had lots of fun with his first b-day cake spreading the frosting all over his highchair tray like finger paint!

EB repo people - Does everyone have a cabin number now? I'm still SOOO jealous Hope you have a great time!

Am back,got there had a good old laugh at some young girl "TRYING" to park,i stopped to allow her more time to park and she went off on one went inside the cattle market,Hazel left me to look at the "surrounding" while she went in M&S and Dorothee's,on coming out she mumbled something about not having her size and "come on were going home",i didn't have to sulk once what a result....

THought I'd share the terrible beginning of my day. I saw in the paper yesterday that the Kyle Petty Chick-fil-a Across America was coming through our county. It was supposed to arrive bet. 8:15 and 8:30 near us.

DH and my dad both ride cycles, so I thought DS would like to go watch. We went out to the road about 8:00 just to be sure we didn't miss it. About 8:35, five bikes and several accompanying vehicles went by. DS said, "That's it. What a rip-off." We waited another 15 minutes just to be sure and came home. Well, we should have waited a few more minutes--several hundred bikes went thru!

I'm not telling DS.

Absolutely Beautiful. A high of about 95 degrees today. Dry with sunny Skies. Ever since all the smoke cleared the air has been clear and temps better. We had a spat of 105 degree weather a few weeks back and that was miserable.

Going up to 95* here today as well Steve and 97* predicted for tomorrow with the heat index (high humidity) both days at 100-110. No relief in sight until early next week for us.........

At least on the weekends I don't have to be out walking in this stuff.....
