I see you had Arya for a stateroom attendant. We had him on our 2006 cruise.

Enjoy your last night!

party: And Happy Birthday to Alex G and Harrison party:

Double ditto. Happy Birthday Karen, Alex G and Harrison. Diane and Walt

Great! :thumbsup2

Is there a good restaurant that everybody would like in Fredericksburg? (Maybe Claim Jumper or Outback Steak House?)

Beth and I are both off the last weekend in September. (That doesn't happen often with our schedules.) How about Friday September 26th or Saturday September 27th?

Paige (Disgrits) - Are you guys up for a VA Dismeet?

We should start a list...

Matthew
EPCOT_VA

Claim Jumper is the restaurant the WI/TX dismeet met last Wednesday nite. We had a great time. Too bad Walt has to go to work or we would ride our Harley to the dismeet. Diane

.....but once he retires--look out!:cool1: :cool1:

Are you a 'Martha' (Stewart) or a 'Mother Goose' ?

Martha: Stuff a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of an ice cream cone to prevent ice cream drips.

MG:Just suck the ice cream out of the bottom of the cone, for Pete's sake! You are probably lying on the couch with your feet up eating it, anyway!

_______________

Martha :To keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in the bag with the potatoes.

MG: Buy Hungry Jack mashed potato mix. Keeps in the pantry for up to a year.

_______________
Martha: When a cake recipe calls for flouring the baking pan, use a bit of the dry cake mix instead and there won't be any white mess on the outside of the cake.

MG: Go to the bakery! Heck, they'll even decorate it for you!

_____________________

Martha: If you accidentally over-salt a dish while it's still cooking, drop in a peeled potato and it will absorb the excess salt for an instant 'fix-me-up.'

MG: If you over-salt a dish while you are cooking, that's too bad. Please recite with me the real woman's motto: 'I made it, you will eat it and I don't care how bad it tastes!'

___________________-

Martha: Wrap celery in aluminum foil when putting in the refrigerator and it will keep for weeks.

MG: Celery? Never heard of it!

_____________________

Martha:Brush some beaten egg white over pie crust before baking to yield a beautiful glossy finish.

MG: The Mrs. Smith frozen pie directions do not include brushing egg whites over the crust, so I don't.

_________________

Martha: Cure for headaches: take a lime, cut it in half and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away.

MG: Take a lime, mix it with tequila, chill and drink! All your pains go away!

_________________

Martha:If you have a problem opening jars, try using latex dish washing gloves. They give a non-slip grip that makes opening jars easy.

MG: Go ask that very cute neighbor if he can open it for you.

________________________

Martha: Don't throw out all that leftover wine. Freeze into ice cubes for future use in casseroles and sauces.

MG : Leftover wine??????????? HELLO!!!!!!!

(Names were changed to protect the innocent). :rotfl:

This is great. I really enjoyed. Diane

Be good Mike and hope Robin has a nice visit with Cassie. We are in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was a nice ride. I thought alittle chilly but at least it was dry. Walt stopped at a Harley Dealer to have his tires checked. We wore out the back tire. He needed a new one. We had a new tire put on. Walt is glad. He feels safe again. Now we are all set to drive again 10,000 miles. This is his second back tire he had to replace. We sure put alot of miles on his bike. We will stay here tonite, wash our clothes and head to my daughter Erika's tomorrow. She lives in Irving, Texas. (Dallas) around 300 miles away. We have drven 3535 miles so far. We will go to Boston Red Sox/Texas Ranger game tomorrow nite. You know I will be cheering for the Red Sox. Go Red Sox. I am very excited. Then on Sunday we eat breakfast with Erika probably the Waffle House. Walt has read how good this restaurant is online. We will soon find out. After breakfast we leave to go home. around 300 miles and we will be back in San Antonio Texas. Walt has to go back to work on Monday and I have a busy schedule with the grandkids. My daughter has to get back to her old work routine. Diane

I cannot believe it....he's growing up so fast! How's school going there so far?

He does love it....yesterday he had phy. ed. and music, so we heard all about those! Today is "Spirit Day", so they all wear the school colors (green and white) and the unit with the most students in the colors gets an extra recess. We had to pick out a green shirt last night so we wouldn't forget!

Those are my kids colors too. We now shop for green.:thumbsup2

 :rotfl2: :lmao:
i wonder if matthew knows we have about 1,300 diff disney buttons.
(i've lost count)

Cool! We probably have the same in pins. (Okay...probably just a few hundred!) We started collecting WAY before 2000. We always talked about suggesting more pins, but we never did. I try not to buy too many!:rolleyes1

Happy Birthday to Addison. How is the baby grandson doing? From Gramma Diane and Grampa Walt

brady is doing great.:thumbsup2 he came home today.:cool2:

we had a local business put up a huge stork sign in their yard stating "its a boy":grouphug:
we did the same thing when addison was born 2 years ago.:cutie:

we started picking up the buttons the first year we went to wdw together (1976)and never stopped.:rolleyes1
if button collecting ever became as popular as pins, we could cash out and retire.haha

We used to go to Disney shows in California. We picked up a few pins and buttons that are a bit older. Then we started buying them when we could find pins at WDW/DL. I also have a collection of Christmas ornaments from WDW and DL. Not to mention the WDCC figurines. Hmmm.... Disney addict???:rolleyes1
