I spent my evening at the mall :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

No wonder malls are filled primarily with teenagers, they're the only ones who can handle all that stress of shopping and crazy shoppers :lmao:

Ok, I went there for basically ONE thing....I left 3 hours later without my ONE thing

I was looking for a plain black flowy skirt.

8 stores later, I finally found what I was looking for...

it was $175  :scared1:

No thanks, I will just wear my plain black pants in Vegas :rolleyes1 I might be a little warmer than I would like but I have $175 in my bank account thanks :goodvibes

Thought I would share some pics of Kira's first gym class. :thumbsup2

Listening to the music they were pumping out of big speakers (Don't ask me what's with the turtle face LOL!)

Anyone else think it was weird that I was the only parent that brought a camera???????? :rolleyes1

No, but I do think it is weird you put her in gymnastics and not the sterotypical ice skating or hockey that Canada is famous for.

Thanks for the pics, adorable as always.:cutie:

I just wanted to let everyone know that even though we are not going now I am still planning on doing the trick o treat bags. Just need a volunteer to mail them to.

Karen, I did a bit of searching for you -looks like it is available at Target stores:

http://www.target.com/gp/search/601...=robosapien&LID=21425262&ref=tgt_adv_XSGT0179

Is this it?

Apparantly the one he wants is version 2:rolleyes: - the waaaay more expensive one:headache:

Karen,
I just want to tell you how awesome I think you are with your involvement in Ellis' school. I wish we had more parents like you at my school! Unfortunately at my school you have to pull teeth to get parents involved. You think we can clone you and send you over here?;)

There is only 6 of us parents out of 675 kids at the school so we find it tough too. 2 of those are Dads who just run the bar and refreshments at events. Everything else is left to the 4 of us. At the moment we have 4 more fundraising items on the go at the same time:headache: - some days I go to school for longer than Ellis does:rotfl2:, then I bring home more homework to do too:lmao: ... trouble is if we didnt do it then the kids would suffer so we jsut get on with it.:confused3. I'm proud to say that the PTA just reached the $200,000 that we've raised for the school since it started.

I'll start.....

Here is our table on formal night....

Giap,

Welcome! We're so glad you found us!

I'm Jen, and I'll be sailing with DH Pete, and DS Thomas, who will be 6, and a whole bunch of assorted family. This is our second Disney cruise, and I hope you love it as much as we did!

Please visit us often...we're a chatty bunch, but we also have some fun things planned. Be sure to check out Cass's website (click on the orange box in my siggie to get there) for lots of fun, pertinent info! I'm sure Paige will help you out!

Day 10 and our 4th full day at sea. As I said, I don't have alot of photos today, but here are the few I have.....

Georgous as ever - the turtle face was my fav:cutie: :cutie:

Really?... you were the only one with a camera:confused3 - whats wrong with all those other parents?:confused3 I photograph Ellis at everything.

I just wanted to let everyone know that even though we are not going now I am still planning on doing the trick o treat bags. Just need a volunteer to mail them to.

Thats so kind of you  ....still wish you were coming though:sad1:

Well, as you can see I survived the circus show and actually made a nice profit for the school. Got home about 10.30pm last night so it was a loooooooooong day:headache:

I positioned the raffle table right in the centre of the walkway so the parents could barely get past without buying a ticket:rotfl2: - it worked though;)

The kids loved it and the parents HAD to particiapte or the clowns shot them with a huge water pistol:rotfl2:

I was playing "doorman" at this point, and watching all the parents (Neil included) doing the "pizza hut" dance was hysterical:lmao:

Next events are clothes collection, mobile phone collection, 2 xmas catalogues, clothes show, infant entertainer show and 2 others that I cant think of off the top of my head. That brings us up to xmas.:thumbsup2

Well, I think I've decided how I want to do our BOB t-shirts (I have to get this done soon if I want to do them as Christmas presents)....

Let me know what you think...since I am working on this at 3:30 am, my judgement may be a bit off...:lmao: :rotfl:

We all have 2 whole days off now:woohoo:

Neil and I are off to a comedy show tonight with friends so looking forward to that.:yay:

Neil is cooking me a sausage buttie for brekkie as we speak - smells yummy!:goodvibes

Have a great weekend people:goodvibes

Hi Jen, I was too busy posting to see that you were online:rolleyes1

What you doing up at this time???:confused3

Ouch! If it makes you feel better, this is the toy I'd really love to get Thomas for Christmas...

http://www.target.com/gp/detail.htm...-8783341?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B0013TO94U

but I just can't see spending that much for one toy...even though he's truning out to be a big Star Wars fan (just like daddy) and I'm sure Daddy would get a big kick out of it too!

Looks good but :scared1: on the $$

Good morning Karen!

Good morning Jen:goodvibes

Wow! You are one busy mom! It's great that you can do that, though.

I'm hoping to get involved in fundraisers and projects at DS's school - I missed the first parent meeting at school because DS was sick, so I'm still working on getting some more information. The problem for me is I work full time, and can't really volunteer during the day a lot. I hope there will still be some things I can get involved with though!

I just couldn't sleep....too many things running through my mind.

We're going to a family gathering at my sister-in-law's today and staying overnight today, but I still have to pack. We're celebrating 3 birthdays, so I was supposed to finish buying presents last night, only I first had to take my mom to the doctor's office because her leg was swelling, and she didn't know if there were additional problems, so they told her to come in and get checked out. Thomas has a soccer (footie) game this morning too, so we are leaving straight from soccer to SIL's (1 1/2 hours away). I am supposed to bring dessert, and I baked the cake, but I haven't figured out how I'm going to take ice cream, so I haven't bought any yet. Yikes!

Oh, and I bought white t-shirts (thinking I was going to do something different) but I think it will still look ok on white. Do you?
