When we lived in Maine we would always take visitors to the lighthouses that were a reasonable drive from our house. We even lived about 15 minutes from the famous Lighthouse Depot store.

When flying to Maine at night, it is really cool to look out and see the lighthouses with the various beacons that still serve their purpose. I can recall turning on final approach to Portland and seeing the oldest lighthouse in the US, Portland Head out my window. You could see the beam of light travelling across the water. I used to always love that approach day or night. What a sight!

Whenever I go to Massachusetts to visit my family I go to Maine to see the lighthouses. I really enjoy them. Portland Head is beautiful. I have visited the Lighthouse Depot too. Diane

Welcome to Dan and Nan. We are Di and Walt from San Antonio, Texas. This is our third Disney cruise. We cruised with the KK1 last October and had a blast.

Whenever I go to Massachusetts to visit my family I go to Maine to see the lighthouses. I really enjoy them. Portland Head is beautiful. I have visited the Lighthouse Depot too. Diane

Last year my parents moved to Portland, so now its like the shoe is on the other foot. We visit them and it seems we always go over to Portland Head or Two Lights to walk around and enjoy the ocean and scenery. They like to go over to the lighthouses during storms to see the waves crashing. I never had a chance to do that, but they live much closer to the water then we did. We were about 12 miles inland. They are probably a mile or so from the Back Cove.

I talked them into a 7 day. We met them on the 2007 member cruise and made great friends. We just got off the 2008 member cruise.

They are from the great cold north of Maine.

Lina got the job at the Disney Store, she starts Oct. 12th as a Seasonal Employee to start!!!

The manager told her they are hiring extra people for seasonal help, but will be keeping some of them after the holidays are over. She told Lina to work hard and not to call out, and she could possibly be one of the people the store keeps after the holidays.

Lina is really excited about getting the job!!! And so are we!!!
