Cast of Characters are myself and DH in our 50's and adult DS 30. We were on the DDP and here specifically for our 5th Food & Wine Festival.

Today was our first MK day of the week. We arrived early, but not at rope drop. We were hungry shortly after noon. DH and DS went to order at Peco Bill's and I easily ( to my surprise) found a table to sit at. It was crowded, but not jammed.
DH and DS each had a "Bacon Double Cheeseburger - served with your choice of french fries or apple slices" with fries. They made extensive use of the "Fiixin's Bar" and enjoyed their burger and fries.
I had a smaller "1/4-Pound Cheeseburger - served with your choice of fries or apple slices" with fries and the fixings bar.
I thought this was a great burger and fry meal. However, we all decided that it was the "worst" meal of our week. Not bad that a good meal is the "worst" meal of the week  .
Our TS dinner was a late ADR (8:30) at Raglan Road. We wanted to eat and also see the entertainment. We loved it here and had a great night!!!
We arrived early for our ADR, but we were seated on time. Our table was in the Main Dining Room as requested, but right up against the stage. I was worried that this would be too loud, but it turned out to be fine.
Our service was great and we totally enjoyed our food.
DH and DS shared a starter for two. They had: "Scallop Forest - forks of scallops served with a lime dipping sauce". It was a generous portion for two and they declared it to be great. It was an interesting presentation, with the scallops actually presented on forks in a wooden tray. Neat!!!
For my appetizer I had: "Seared Beef Salad - With a horseradish drizzle served with mixed greens and crispy fried onions " I did not understand what this appetizer entailed. It was a serious serving of beef on a small bed of greens. If I had understood this, I would either have ordered another appetizer on another entree. They were both good, but they were duplicative. My entree was: " Serious Sirloin Steak - 10 oz sirloin topped with Irish whiskey glazed, drizzled with gresh basil oil. Served with mashed potatoes and topped with crispy fried onion strings". Too much sirloin and onion stings. Great Tasting = just no diversity.
DH and DS both had (see the pattern in their ordering ? :rotfl: ) "Sod... The Stew - It's beef stew infused with a hint of Guinness". Each had a side order of Colcannon too. We were so full dessert was an afterthought. DH had the Bread Pudding and loved it.
We loved Raglan Road.
We sat right at the stage and enjoyed every minute of the band and the dancer. The Irish band is GREAT. We will go again.

So glad you liked Raglan Road, it has goten a few bad reviews lately. I'm eating there for the first time in Feb!

We had a great time at Raglan Road. The food was very good, the atmosphere lovely and the entertainment was great. I think you will enjoy it.
