Can't find my cruise docs/book with all the luggage tags. I probably put it somewhere I would lose it.....or the last place the kids remember seeing it is on the end table. Maybe the cleaning lady put it somewhere. I am going to scour the house with my husband tonight but if I cannot find it what do I do?

Saying a quick prayer here fer' ya'.:littleangel:

I just couldn't sleep much last night. I went to bed at 9:30 pm and then woke up at 12:30 am. Then I stayed up for 2 hours and then went to bed again and got up again at 6:00 am. I am way too excited to sleep, but not as excited as my 19 year old DS who has been up and dressed since 4:00 am this morning and is ready to go to the hotel (we are not leaving the house until 10:00 am:rotfl:) We fly out Wednesday morning and will meet our new DIS friends for the first time at the Phoenix airport and then we will all complete our journey together. Safe travels to all. Can't wait to meet everyone:love:

And I am really looking forward to meeting you as well. Safe travels to you and we will have to get together on the ship. Come on over to our room and we can eat, drink and watch the beautiful view from the verandah:lovestruc

So what does that mean, exactly? On Pirate Night? When is that event, exactly? If DW and I ate at the 8:30 Palo seating on Day 4, would we be precluded from joing the kiddos at the Pirate party (which we are all eagerly awaiting?).

Please advise. Ugh, hate being such a newbie. :scared: Thanks!!!:flower3:

Don't be scared - we were all newbies once :cool1:

Pirate Night is Tues, day 4, St. Maarten on our cruise and the Pirate IN the Caribbean party with the characters starts around 9:45pm....its not to miss! There is a pirate/caribbean themed dinner at your rotational restaurant with a mini-show by the staff as well.

So it depends how fast you eat...my DH and I like to take our time at Palo - plus we like to dress up in formal wear and get pictures done (they take one at the restuarant or you can get them done in the lobby every night of the cruise) so an 8:30pm ressie at Palo for dinner would NOT work for us.

We also like to dress up for pirate night in general so switching from formal to pirate would be a pain but if your routine is simpler than ours you might be able to pull it off.

I wouldn't want to miss either event, so I am sticking with my 8:30 ressie on the 1st night.

Hope this helps!

sounds like a great plan!!! i think you are just 2 or 3 doors down...we are in 8524

I'M TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP. Two years of planning/waiting is almost over...

Was reviewing some photos and wanted to share one of my favorites places - Heads Up Bar on CC - just past the family beach...look forward in meeting you there.

Beautiful!!!. Never make it to the adults-only areas...ahhh maybe this year. Our neighbors are joining us and they have boys around the same age as mine.

I'm pretty sure they are just a formality. You can get spare tags where you drop off your lugguage and if you have the papers from online checkin - you are good to go. I think???

Good luck on finding it.

Don't see any reason why you couldn't take the kids over there. It's essentially a dock out over the water with a bar off to the side. The bar is located at the end of the Family beach. The new Pelican Plunge is on the other side of the bar. Great picture taking spot.

Fabulous - thanks for the great reply! :thumbsup2 It DOES sound like its cutting it close, so maybe I'll keep the reservation, but see if we can't get a different one right when we board? Does this sound like the right idea? Don't want to use bad cruise ettiquette. :confused3 We all have our pirate costumes pirate:, so we can't miss Pirates of the Caribbean night (as we'll be IN the Caribbean after all)! :yay:

This is a perfect plan - i do believe that Palo keeps some open reservations for onboard bookings - etc.

If you do the snorkel trail at Castaway Cay you might come upon this statue

Where exactly does the snorkel trails on CC Family Beach start?
I couldn't find the adult one...is there a snorkel trail at Serenity Bay?

I know to get there early b4 the sand gets stirred up but I want to know where I am running to :yay:

If you get the port early and are one of the 1st groups on the ship...RUN to Rockin Bar D and see if you can get Palo ressies...they always reserve a few ressies for day of bookings but they go fast...they have a waiting list too.

Does anyone know if my friends have a brunch at Palo booked and we are all linked on our ressies if my DH and I can be added to their ressie?

None of us are concierge and my DH and I do not have brunch booked yet?

how many gifts do you bring and what age group do you buy for?

any suggestions would be great!

Sunshine1259 - AKA Brenda, who started this post has already organized our groups FE gift exhange...she has already sent out the final lists but if you want to contact her and ask about it that might be the best course of action.

There are multiple groups and I know in my group alone there are 13 staterooms with 50 people, including 25 kids ranging in ages.

I have broke my gifts down into 6 catagories for men, women, older girls/boys & younger girls/boys...but really in the spirit of it all ANYTHING is appreciated and cerished as a memory of our cruise!

Have a Magical day and I hope to meet you soon!
