Thanks all for the input on the the pirate costumes. I'm just not sure about this pirate night thing. My wife found some costumes at Walmart and wants us to get them. But from what I have seen here on the boards I just don't think they would be good enough. I'm not sure what to do...

I hate being the newbie....

Ours aren't elaborate. It's all about having fun!! And getting into the pirate spirit. So I say go for it! Even if you just get pirate-themed t-shirts. Not that's it's necessary in the least, just lots of fun to act pirate-y! And the Jack Sparrow and Pirate Mickey and Minnie and the gang are out partying and picture taking. No matter how you're dressed you'll have fun. I promise!!

My DH is working on our door magnets as well and then my DS (the computer guru) will approve whether they make the cut or not. Heyyyyy, when did the kid take over????? Even our dogs are going to be on the door wearing Mickey Ears this year

We have lots of decorations and many thanks to Milliepie and Jordak on the magnet thread for creating such awsome pictures My husband just laughs every time I make a new magnet. He is convinced that I am trying to cover the entire door with them, inside and out. But everytime I say I am done I wander over to the design board and see something new. I do have some Halloween ones but there is a vast variety.

This is going to be so much fun!!! I think DH and I are more excited then the kids... But then again we are just big kids

Just wanted to let anyone know who may be thinking about these that I just went on the website and was going to order black to go with my suitcase in a 3 ps set which were about $34 for three and then I got to looking and if you bought the orange which is a discontinued color they are only $17 for a 3ps set. I am not picky about matching so I totaly went for it. Always willing to share a good deal when I find it

i had hoped to get one more trip into DL before cruising...but with planning a 30th BD party to be held in 2 wks and parents wkend at DS' university - don't see how/where i can fit it in
oh well....planning a Xmas trip

Three weeks from this very moment I have just returned to the house after dropping off the family beagle, "Minnie", at the kennel for her vacation, it's the "Lucky Chance pet resort and Spa". I will have stopped at the bank to pick up my pocket cash for our trip. I'll be almost dancing into the house to retreive our bags and throw them in our vehicle. My wife will be putting the finnishing touches on the house so that upon our return, everything will be neat and clean and in it's place. She will probably have washed the sheets and made the bed while I was out as well. I'll go through the house and unplug everything I think shoulkd be unplugged while we're gone and I'll be standing at the door waiting to set the alarm while she puts the final touches on her makeup. By this time I'll be saying "let's go, your keeping Mickey waiting!" Off we'll head to the airport and on to Kidani Village to start this shindig!!!

Hello there mateys!!! I've been absent a little while. But I finally got all the fish extenders done this past weekend along with packing up a box for our Owner's Locker (finally got hubby to cave in getting one as we are always at Disneyworld).

We are VERY excited for the cruise AND MNSSHP on the 22nd - the kids are estatic!!!!

Brenda (Miss Sunshine) did we confirm that any updates to the FE list will be posted on the outside of your room? I have a few on my list that are GTY as well as the possibility folks may change rooms upon checking in so I want to make sure I get the FE's to the right folks.

Has anyone ever mailed a box to themselves on the ship? I'm thinking about sending my FE gifts, pirate costumes, magnets, etc. but I'm worried that it might not get there.
