I hope I can get up on time :cloud9: We are usually late risers

We can be too. But last year, everyone was so excited we were early for everything!! Even DD, 4yo at the time did awesome even though her nap/sleep schedule was all messed up. My fave was when I had to wake her up for Tea with Alice, she jumped up and practically ran there half asleep.

Hi everyone, spent the last 4 days reading 154 pages of posts. Enough lurking. We are going on Cruise #7 on 10/23. We are also booked on the Dream for Mar 2011. DW and I are in room 8578 and DD (Katie) and DBF (Mark) are in room 8576. We are DVC members (OKW 1993) and are staying at BLT for a week after the cruise. I am a CPA and specialize in Forensic Accounting. DW is "retired" after raising 3 DD's. We look forward to making new friends and connecting with a few that we have met on ptior cruises. My birthday is 10/30 and we love the Halloween cruises and MNSSHP.

Not seeing the Details button :confused3

I don't see it either. :confused3 We are on the wait list too. Crossing fingers and toes!

I'm a Castaway Member so I've gone in thru there. Also, went in thru the box on the first page on the left with Cruise Search/Reservation to see if it made any difference. It took me to the same page.

From the top down:

Planning Center

Your 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise
Cruise

My Reservation

Only 74 days until your cruise sets sail!
View Details > - I clicked the view details
Once to that page - down a bit it had Vacation details and listed Dining Preference / Ground Transportation / Insurance etc.

Hope that helps.

Hello! Glad you joined ;) Since you have done other Halloween cruises...do you know if there will be trick or treating? DD wants to bring her costume but I don't know if she will end up not wearing :confused3 last I heard was that Trick or Treating only happens on the 31st.

Does anyone know if the discount for onboard booking applies to more than one SR? If so, can it be a ressie for others not cruising with you?

Welcome to the thread Mary Jo and Phil and family!!

Saw in your signature that you were on the 2007 DVC member cruise. So were we! First and only DVC cruise we've been on.

I see that you and Phil are early DVC members. We bought our first contract in 2001 and our second contact both aboard the Magic.

Hello everyone,

I really hate to do this, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to put a cut-off date for the Stateroom Tour. As of today I have over 50 doing the tour.:woohoo: So I'd figure one more week should do, Aug.
[ 18th will be the last day to sign up. Sooo sorry if someone miss this:sad1:

Paul

Do we know what time/day we are doing it at?

I don't have enough posts yet to PM, but my family has voted to join in the Fish Extender fun. Please add us to the list. We will have:

DH: Tim
DW: Chanin
DS: Hunter (13)
DD: Katelyn (10)

We are still in GTY status, so we'll let you know our cabin as soon as we know!

:cool1:

Hello, and Welcome Aboard. I have added you all to our FE list. Now, I just need to put you on the main cruise page.

Glad that you have joined us and look forward to meeting you all.

Again, Welcome Aboard.

Can I suggest we break down groups a bit smaller? It gets to be a lot of stuff that you have to bring. 6-7 families works well. That way one family was assigned per day to deliver goodies. One delivery of goodies a day was enough to keep my kids excited and the stuff starts adding up and taking up space. Let's face it the rooms are not huge. My last cruise it was a group of 6 families and we played the first 6 nights. We did not play the last night as most of your luggage has to be packed and out the door that evening
What does everyone think?

Yes, I am going to break it into groups. I am separating them by cabin and by the number of folks in each cabin. I will then put them in a hat and randomly draw the cabin number. I have to wait until the 23rd to see how many groups we will have. Right now, there are going to be at least 4 groups.

Also, when you deliver you gift will be entirely left up to you. You will only need to give one gift per cabin for the whole trip.

Now, what I may do is have Group 1 deliver on Day 1, Group 2 on Day 3, etc.

Some folks are under the empression that a gift needs to be given everyday for everyone on their list. That isn't the case. Just so long as you give at least one gift per cabin, you will be all right.

You will be provided the names and ages of the folks in the cabin to help you better decide what you want to give. (If an age isn't given, just assume that it is an adult).

Hope that clears up some of the confusion.

Hi, Mary Jo, and crew. Welcome aboard. Boy, I keep thinking that everyone who is going has already found us, but I guess that isn't true. But, as I always say, The more, the merrier.

I am not sure if you wanted to be part of the FE gift exchange. I you do, just let me know so that I can add you all.

Again, Welcome Aboard.

Yes, if you book onboard, every stateroom that you book will receive the discount. But you can only reserve for the number of people in your cabin on this sailing. So, if you have 3 people who are sailing with you on this sailing, then you can book while onboard 3 cabins for a future sailing.
