Right now, it looks like only a Cat. 4, 5, or 6 is available (I based it on two adults and two kids because I didn't look to see how many were really in your group.)

Could you (or anyone, really) tell me how it works to try for an upgrade? Is it the same on Disney as most other cruises, in that upgrades are less expensive if done just before sailing?

Also, what exactly is Pirate Night and what are you all packing for it?

Any other "special" events I should know about? I already know about Formal Night, but do most of you plan on having the younger (7 & 5 for us) kids dress up as well?

We are packing our Pirate costume. This is just a white shirt, and brown caprees, @ a hat. I have a red tie/belt and tanet has boot covers and a vest. Nothing fancy for sure. We have fun dressing up for Prirate night

You can check out the past navagators that are posted on this site. I had a blast dressing up with the kids when we brought the grandkids. Many of the kids do dress up. Some of the little girls will dress in their princess dresses. Others just dress like going out on the town. Really you will see just about everything. Do what feels best to you.

I am right there with you. The same thing happened to me with the sore throat, fever and cough. I went and got a RX for antibiotics that I have already started - I am determined not be be sick on our cruise. Hope you feel better and beat this stuff so you can enjoy your vacation.
