I'm all checked in too I stayed up until midnight last night hoping to do it and it wouldn't let me complete the check in although it appeared I could have book dinner or spa stuff. All I was interested in was earliest possible port arrival, which I got

Amanda, I just read your Half Marathon TR. That was my first half too! And I have those Disney Christmas PJs (I bought a matching set for me and my sister...my husband says this is a sign I need kids).

Are you going to run the Castaway Cay 5k?

I honestly hadn't even thoughts about the 5k. I think we'll both do the 5k since DH is training for the January half. Are you running again this January???
BTW, I lived in Baltimore for 2 years while I finished my training at Hopkins. We love Baltimore!

What a small world with the Baltimore connection--my husband went to Hopkins undergrad and works for the Hospital now. We live not too far from there, right near Patterson Park

We'll definitely have to meet on the cruise then. We lived in Fells Point and used to take the kids to Patterson Park. We went back in April and hung out on the playground!

I was able to book Palo for a late dinner. The only reservation for Remy was on the 1st night and I wasn't sure if I should take that instead of the Palo dinner later in the cruise? Opinions from the experts?
I also booked a cabana couples massage on Castaway Cay. Is that a mistake? It sounded relaxing (which is the theme for this cruise) but I don't want to miss out on fun. (We are cruising with the kids in June and that's a double dip so this isn't our only chance on Castaway Cay!)

Shoot no matter what you do will be good.. One time we booked a late Palo. Very nice.. . Per the Cabana Massage.. Sounds nice, you will still have a bunch of time to explore the island.. Renting bikes is a nice way to see lots of the island, They say the rental is 8 dollars an hour.. But we have used the bikes for hours and they only seem to charge for 1 hour..

You know the more I think about a Disney Cruise the only way to mess it up is to Miss the Boat ...

Today I called and set up our transfer after the cruise to the Beach Club and then also set up the ME for our ride back to the airport. I think all the details are taken care of now!

Pretty good here. Great weather the past couple of days, only in the 80s finally!
I am so excited about this cruise. I know I will cry like a baby thinking about my kids missing all the cool new things but I am thinking of rebooking while onboard and surprising them. That will make me feel less guilty.

This will be my first Disney cruise. I'm so excited. My DD is only three and telss everyone she meets that she is on her way to meet mickey. I never realized how much planning goes into a disney vacation. It has become a part time job...lol

This will be our first disney cruise also no kids but I act like a big kid at disney.

I can't wait for there private island I've heard so much about it then after we are going to the International food and wine festival at epcot can't wait

Hi !!

I was wondering what fellow sailing buddies think about arrival to the port. My family is staying at the poly and we are tossed about whether to take the bus or opt for our own transportation. We don't want to miss time on the boat and are concerned about the late bus pickup.
