So we will be doing a back to back on this cruise... Our 1st b2b and this cruise is going to be the 1st leg of that cruise... Any one else doing the same b2b???

We are also doing this as the first leg of a B2B -- first timers too for a b2b

I was just telling my DH yesterday that we are going to have to discuss b4 the 25th what I am going to try for. I would love Palo brunch & dinner both. I was thinking brunch for the 1st cruise & dinner the 2nd. I am considering a dolphin encounter either at Atlantis or Blue Lagoon on Nassua.....not sure if I want to book this for the 4 or 3 night. Also considering jet skis on CC. Anyone do any of these b4 that could advise me if these are good choices?

This cruise is my 40th birthday present and we're going without the kids so I don't mind the extra cost of the adult restaurants if we're able to score something!.........
I want to see if it's worth the cost to take our kids there when we go on the podcast cruise next June.

I did book a ressie at both Palo and Remy for the first cruise just to have them. After Thursday morning, depending on what we get, I will sort it out.

We did get the 11:00-11:30 check-in time slot though.

-----> I do remember reading on one cruiser review they has 900 b2b cruiser..Now I do not know how accurate that number (Was it a stated number from Disney or just a Swag) was but It does boggle the mind there...

Are you Gold or Silver? If you are Gold, you could book now for the 4-nighter and then cancel after Thursday if you get them for the 3-nighter.

If you're silver, go for them the night it opens up and then try again when the 3-night ressies open.

We have everything booked.. and everyone is on board with the times, So I do not want to mess with it, But next time I will do a little different.

I'll try my best with an explanation....

The DISboards has a weekly Podcast show that you can listen to....either online or downloaded from Itunes. They choose a cruise to be a "podcast cruise" with activities, live podcast, prizes, meet and greets, etc....
The cruise must be booked through their travel company, Dreams Unlimited in order to get the perks.

Hello again! I checked in on here long ago when there wasn't much discussion going on. i'm Tam, mom of three boys, and I surprised my family with this trip at Christmas time. I have been saving my own pennies. We are also doing a Disney resort stY and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party for the first time.

But look at it now! So exciting! I have been busy sewing, sewing, sewing so we are all matchy matchy on our trip. So, if you guys see a family of 5 wearing matching outfits each day ... that's us. I'm even sewing the boys matching Aquaduck rashguards! And, Halloween costumes of course. And pirate outfits!

I could try sewing a fish extender if I haven't missed out on that. Is it too late to join in?

My pay off date is fast approaching for our first cruise, and I cannot decide what to book. I had thought Castaway stingrays and onboard couples massage. Has anyone done these? Is there a best time to book those stingrays early in the day or later? If I can get us a Palo lunch, i may ... just to try it out.

Hello, We did the stingrays a few years back.. It was wonderful, loved the way Disney did it, You can hand feed them if you want, They trained them to swim to a Mickey Mouse shaped head for food.. Great for adults & kids.. Not scary and very safe and fun.. Palo brunch, is awesome, A must try at least once in your life

Hi there, I believe the cut off date for the FE is in September. Pat has all the info on this and I'm sure she will verify. We have 25 plus cabins.

I will update the list periodically. Around August, we can decide if we want to split the list or leave it.

Shortly after Sept 1, I will post the final list(s). If anyone wants to join after that, it should be with the understanding that they will need to provide gifts for everyone (or each cabin) on the list, though they may not receive gifts from everyone who signed up before the deadline.

I prefer to leave it up to the individuals to decide if you'd rather give a gift to each person in each cabin, or just a single cabin gift. Same with when you deliver them. There was a suggestion on the WBTA of assigning days to deliver, which was quickly over-ruled by the majority. We're on vay-cay, after all!

Please remember I will be away from Sept 6 to Sept 26 and may not be able to access the DISboards or email during that time. (Love DCL, but not their on-board Internet rates. )

Thanks for re-posting my info post! My head has been spinning dealing with the WBTA FE. We have almost 60 cabins signed up for that. I'm hoping this one will be easier.

The FE threads in the info post give some instructions on making an FE, including a no-sew version.

To send a PM, left click on my Disname and it will give you a drop-down menu with "send a PM" as an option. Please be sure to put "Dream FE" in the subject, and include the information requested in the info post. Thanks!


At the end of the month, I'll see how many cabins we have signed up and see how everyone feels about splitting the list into smaller groups. That will give me time to get those organized and still add people til Sept 1. For the WBTA, I created a Google Groups page to give participants access to the list. I'm thinking that would be a good thing to do for this trip as well, especially if we end up splitting the list. When we get to that point, I'll post instructions on how to join Google Groups and access the list.

Merely mentioning your desire to participate in a post on the thread will not get you added to the list.

Just bringing this up, as a few people were a bit put out over on the WBTA meet thread b/c they thought they were signed up b/c they mentioned it in a post (or on the Facebook page we set up). They were mistaken. As they had not PM'ed me, they were not on the list.

After I pointed out that it's too easy to miss that sort of thing in a thread (especially since we're on our 4th one for that trip), everyone got with the program and sent their PM's.

Here is the current list of DISnames of people who are signed up. If your DISname is here, I have all the info you sent me (room assignment, participants, etc.) and you are good to go. If you are not on the list and would like to participate, please send me a PM. (But do it after Saturday. My PM box is almost full and I won't get a chance to clean it out til then.) Likewise, if you are on the list but no longer wish to participate, please let me know that as well.
