10/23/11 - Disney Dream

Yes, that would be AFEG. I sent him the link, so hopefully he'll be around here soon.

I hope so too! I listened to the podcast about the Dream yesterday & am getting more & more excited about how great this ship sounds. I am so glad we added on the 3 night as it sounds like there is so much more to experience.

yay Disney dream, I can't wait!

:welcome:

If you are interested in participating in the FE, here's some information:

Anyone who wants to participate in the FE, please PM me with the following:

Subject: Dream FE
Disname
Cabin number (or TBA if not yet assigned)
First name, fellow travelers' names and relationship (DH, DD, DS, friend, etc.)
Ages of children (ages of adults are optional)
Anything you are celebrating
Any allergies, esp. food allergies

Be sure you put "Dream" in the subject, so I know you're on this trip and not the WBTA.

If anyone needs info on FE's, here are some posts you can peruse. (Thanks to karentan over on the WBTA thread, from whom I stole these!:thumbsup2)

FE basics
fish extender info
instructions for the no sew FE
handmade FE gift ideas
other FE gift ideas

As people sign up and the date gets closer, we'll see how many we have. If the list gets long, we can talk about splitting it up. There were only 10 cabins participating on our last trip so it was really easy to get to everyone.

If anyone thinks of anything else I should include, please let me know.

Okay, I tried my hand at a cruise Graphic for our Cruise. Let me know what you all think.

Hit me with any suggestions. My last one was a collaborative effort and it looked much better for that.

Think we could get the thread started to change the title of the thread? :confused3

"Livin' the Dream" - 10/23/2011 Disney Dream

That would be cool.

Let me see what these look like on the DIS. I made them smaller for placing in signature lines.

I am seriously thinking of changing my cruise to this one -- I am booked on the 10/27 3-night (the 27th is my 10-year anniversary) but the ship looks so amazing that I think I may want to switch to the 4-nighter. I would love to do a b2b cruise but I think hubby would go nuts with the idea of 2 days in Nassau!

Major difference would be taking the kids out of school for the week instead of just a day or two -- not terrible though as they will be in 3rd and 1st grade.

I guess I could have worse decisions to make...;)

Just an idea for selling the b2b idea to your hubby......tell him you can spend one of the Nassau days totally on the ship since there is so much to explore on the new ship. That's what we will be doing!

Definitely! Have fun with it.
Thanks Steve. I may make a door magnet out of it too! :teeth: It's super cute.

We're actually doing the B2B on 10/23 and 10/27. Like Melanie said, treat the Nassau days as a sea day. We're doing that. We will go ashore on one of the days just to go to the straw market and get an Xmas ornament. Then back on the ship. We will stay on the ship the second stop there and explore the Dream.

We thought about doing Atlantis (may still do it if the room rates in Oct are a steal), but the ship has so much to see, we will need the extra day to explore.

Sell it to your husband that he'll get 2 days in CC. :thumbsup2

Hey Melanie, any chance on getting the Fat Gent on the board? :rotfl:

I talked to him yesterday and he said he'll be on this week. We'll see.
