Just wondering who is all going to be on the FE list.

My kids really enjoyed coming back to the room to see what surprises were outside the door.

I think we'll opt into the FE list. Just waiting for enough posts to pm about it. Do most folks make their own FEs or buy them online? Also, is there an official DIStag? I'm sure I would get answers to all my questions by searching and reading through tons of threads, but I think it helps to chat within the meet group about stuff like this. Helps you to get to know everyone.

Becky is in charge of DIStag/FE. I'm sure she'll give you all the answers you need.

We did the NCL Spirit of America around the Hawaiian islands and loved it! Overnight port calls in Maui and Kauai plus Hilo AND Kona on the big island. Of course, you do have to fly into Honolulu, which is not inexpensive.

Seriously? I didn't realize they were a hot item. We were having too much fun watching the LCD screens around the room during dinner at AP. That show very interactive for all. I think we took some video of some of it, so I'll have to upload some to FB this weekend.

That does sound nice!!! I couldn't even get Rich to do a B2B before our 3-nt. when the price was still low.

Yep, seriously. I was reading a thread where a lot of those knives and especially the red pillows from the beds went missing. I guess someone was trying to sell one of the knives on eBay but got reported by the DIS Police.

Started reading it this morning and didn't quite get through it all yet. It'll give me something to do at lunch today though. I just hope I'll be able to see your pictures from there. I can't view Photobucket pics there. Guess I'm lucky enough to be able to DIS so I won't complain.

We are looking into an 8 day Bahamian from NYC next July. Frank loves the idea of being able to get on the train in CT and end up in Castaway Cay without taking a plane! We are negotiating dates with 2 people we met on the last cruise, Annika & Christian, who live in Germany. We're hoping some other folks will join us as soon as we lock in on a date.

How about it MG?

b/t/w - I LOVE to play tour guide in NYC! It is my favorite place on earth, there is so much to do and I love doing all the touristy stuff.

It depends on how crafty each person likes to be. I've seen some awesome homemade ideas for FEs that are really easy and fun - like stocking as Christmastime or a couple of dollar store mini-tote bags tied together with ribbon and personally decorated by each member of the family. There are also some really great FEs you can purchase on the internet. I have made mine in the past, but it was only one pocket so it wasn't very complicated.

Yes, It is ironic that next year for the first time, we will have to fly somewhere to get to a Disney cruise when we usually just drive to the port. It is even more ironic that I have to fly back home (to where I grew up) for the cruise and not even stop to visit the family! They might not find it so funny when they hear we are going with out them though!!

We enjoyed the FE We made home made gifts for grown ups and kids also got age appropriate. They are a ton of fun to come back to the room and find that little bit of "Pixie Dust" there jusst waiting for you from another DISer. We made our FE (saw lots of clever ideas) and this year we are going to button on two more pockets as we will have company in our room.
