Hi there guys - thought it was about time I checked in on the thread again. Sorry I'v enot been around much, I really struggle sometimes ot keep up with some of the conversations that go on here, particularly the 'in jokes' with those who know each other already. But I am normally here lurking and reading. We are seriously considering booking an additional stateroom since there are 4 of us, including my almost-adult DD. Since DH is her step-father, it will be a little awkward when trying to get ready in the morning and for dinner so this is why we're considering it. Waiting for DU to email back to let me know what it will cost me :rolleyes1

DH and I have booked an adults only trip in August to WDW, which I am really looking forward to. We are staying at Universal for 5 days so hoping to visit WWOHP too :thumbsup2

Hope everyone is OK. What have you all been up to?

We need to see what you bought! Come on...post some pics.

Well my lovely bride Robin actually bought Disney jewlery???? i mean really??
there was a dealer set up at a Disneyana Toy show that sold jewlery?? go figure. but robin bought a bracelet.:headache::cutie:
I'm sure she'll be happy to post a picture or 2.

i'm sorry if thats my fault.:guilty: we're trying to include everyone on the "in jokes". anything you want to know, please ask.:thumbsup2

No-one's fault, no need for apologies, I just found it difficult to keep up with what was going on at times. Like I say, I'm still here and see we've got several meets planned which I am excited about.

Now there's only one question - strawberry or chocolate smoothie :confused3;)

The onyl other thing I'm struggling with is whether we are doing a full FE exchange or whether we decided to go with the suggestions about a secret cabin exchange? Grateful if somebody could clarify since I would be happy to do the secret cabin exchange if that's what's happening :)

Strawberry Joh! :cutie:

I think we decided on the secret cabin FE exchange too. I've signed up for that one myself.

And, sorry if some of us made you feel aliented :crowded: Joh. We are a chatty bunch and sometimes when no one else posts we just get carried away. But I can certainly understand how you might feel. :grouphug: We all love making new DIS friends and I am looking forward to many months of chatting and planning with all the Parleyers. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

OK, does anyone have any excursions they are thinking of doing next year? We've done the Eastern itinerary twice already and we're looking for something new and different this time. Ideas, anyone? :confused3

Look at my ticker everyone! One more month and we become grandparents for the very first time!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Absolutely love that - I managed to resist the Vinylmation on our last trip but don't think I'll be so successful this year.

No, sorry, first time on a cruise longer than 3 days for us - we've never done ANY excursions.

However, my DD really wants to swim with dolphins - is there anywhere she can do that?

Ooh, how exciting - being a grandparent must be ace. Like being a parent but with the ability to give the kids back :rotfl:

On our first Eastern we did the St Maartin "Island and Explorer" cruise. We really enjoyed that. In St Thomas we hopped on one of those truck taxis and toured the island with another couple from a different ship. We enjoyed that as well. On our second Eastern we had two of our adult children (the two who brought home little "souvenir" from the cruise last year) and we just took the water taxis into town in St M and then on St T we did the taxi tour again because the kids wanted to. Our first one was much better and we had a great tour guide. This one was kind of a drip. No personality until we handed her the tip. Then she was all sweet to us. :confused3

Joh, I'll have to remember to post a picture that she took of our family in St T. It was hilarious!!!:rotfl2:

As for Dolphins, I'm not sure about that one. I know on our Western itinerary, a few DISers tried to swim with the dolphins in Cozumel but the bad weather canceled the tour. :headache:

I'm sure I'll be much nicer to my grandkids than I was to my own kids too. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Saaaaweeeeet!:thumbsup2

i love that one!:thumbsup2
reminds me of all the time we spent in the Magic Shop with Michael when he was growing up. :thumbsup2

Never been and looking for ideas. Thought about zip lining if there is any, wanted to do that on the PC cruise but my weight was a little on the pooh side.

Thanks Sherri. We can barely wait. Our daughter in law went to the Dr this week and she told her to expect a big baby. :scared1: Hopefully, not as big as mine were: Son 10 lbs, 5 oz, and Daughter 9 lbs 1/2 oz. :rolleyes1

Heather (GOS) is from London. :yay: Maybe she'll be along to assist.
