I think Charles will want to go to Atlantis again and do the waterslides, etc. It's just soooooo expensive that I'd probably rather try something else. So I'm not sure what will happen. But the place I'm thinking of going is I think called Blue Lagoon... you can do different things like dolphin encounter, but we would just got for a beach day.

Yea...we were looking at the Disney ones...they also have a wine and cheese tasting thing...but I think we will probably go to Atlantis too...I'm still waiting for our bounceback to kick in on the site!

Nice! I remember when we made the reservation I was thinking, "Seven months is sooooo far away!" 5 months sounds so much better.

The only thing we have possibly planned is the Castaway Cay Stingray encounter.

I am new to this board, so forgive me, if everything appears in a disarray

We will be Cruising on Oct.22, 2009 aboard Wonder-3night, We are doing 4 days prior at Disney,Staying at Dixie Landings( I know it is now called Port Orleans Riverside, but it will ALWAYS be Dixie Landings to me) We are soo very excited!

We will have 3 cabins! Our best friends and my wonderful sister are traveling with us!! Lots of Toddlers, wish us luck!

My Cabin will be myself, Kimberly, My DH, My DS and My DD, twins-3
Our Friends and there 2 children, girl-4,girl-2.
And my sister, who will enjoy the serenity of her own personal cabin, which at days end, I am sure she will much appreciate.

I look forward to meeting everyone and learning lots before we embark!!

Wow, good for you! I guess we'll hold off for a little while. For one thing, we need to figure out who is dogsitting for us (which impacts which airport we fly out of).

So, I'm sitting here starting to put together FE gifts. Since this is my first venture into doing this, any help you all can give me would be much appreciated! Do you make up goodies/gifts for each person in the stateroom, and if so how do you determine how many that is? I do believe I have read some folks do small goodies for each day or one "big" gift delivered on any day during the cruise.

Really looking forward to this!

The FE gifts are what you want them to be. The one and only time that I participated, we rec'd either 1 small gift for each person in the state room or 1 large gift per state room, or a gift of small gifts to share throughout. As the time gets closer, AND HOPEFULLY MORE PEOPLE WILL JOIN , we will have a list of how many people/children/girl/boy in each state room.

Hope this helps and don't stress out! This is all about just sprinkling a little extra pixie dust around to our DIS friends.

I will periodically check on the board update the list. We can set a deadline of August 31 for last call to sign up so there is time to make sure we have enough gifts for everyone.

GIFT EXCHANGE
HOW IT WORKS:
-Participants will get small gift for each cabin signed up (not including your own cabin).
-As we get closer to the departure date, PM minniemousememories your cabin room number/s and indicate which of those cabins will be giving gifts. (NOTE: if a group has more than one cabin, only required to give 1 gift for the entire group. However, if you want to give gifts for each cabin, please let minniemousememories know, so I can assign dates for gift distribution accordingly.)
-minniemousememories will write up a gift exchange list to distribute about a week prior to departure or at our DISMeet (are we having one?) with a list of cabins to deliver gifts to, as well as your assigned day to deliver the gifts. So that way, each day a gift or two will be waiting at your door.
-Fish extenders not required, though if you want to make/bring one, by all means do! Many people have used a gift bag to hang outside the door and their fish.

If you want to sign up, let me know so that we can get a better idea on how many will be participating and how many gifts we will need to get together. It's so fun to sprinkle and be sprinkled with a little extra magic throughout the cruise!
