10:20 FoP FP and 10:45 Breakfast, is this possible?

I made a mistake and booked my FP for FoP too close to my Tusker House ROL breakfast. I have tried for over a week to modify both, with no luck. I really love the time of the breakfast as we will be doing HDDR at 8:30 the night before and am not planning on RD at AK this day. I also am realizing that it may be downright impossible to change the time of our FoP FP.

Is it at all possible that we could get to FoP at 10:15 just before our FP window opens, ride and make it to Tusker House at 10:45 for breakfast? Or do you think this is wishful thinking and way to risky?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Show up early for the FP and see what things look like.

If FP line is backed up, head to Tusker and keep trying move your FP time to later.
Sometimes, day-of FP changes will work better than advance changes.

Even if you entirely miss your FP window, that FP is still viable for use later in the day
for any attraction you can book.

Just knowing the layout of the park, and not even knowing how long the Flight of Passage Ride takes .. I would say no.

Most rides .. even if you can walk on them with Fast Pass can take 10-15 minutes when you account walking through the queue, a pre-show (if one) and the ride itself and then exiting the ride.
Just thinking of things like Soaring or Star Tours.

Then you are trying to get from one corner of the park to the other which will take about 10 or so minutes unless you are sprinting.

I bet you can do this ride in 30 minutes.

You could check in for Breakfast on your way to the ride and let them know there is a chance you might be 10 minutes late.

I'd keep the fast pass and just high tail it over to Tusker House as soon as you are done. At worst, you'll be a few minutes late. No big deal.

If it is impossible to change your reservations, I say go for it!

10:10am Show up 5 minutes early for FOP, your band will scan up to 5 minutes before your return time according to easywdw (and I've tried it and it does work). Even if that policy has changed, you'll be right there when it does scan! Most reports say with FP it's 15 to 30 minutes.

10:40am Use the back exit from Pandora, which puts you at FOTLK, which is right next to Tusker House.

10:45am You can show up 15 minutes late for an ADR before it's too late, if memory serves, but you should be showing up just in time.

I'm fairly sure you can make it!!

Do this. Scan in right at 10:15. Go straight to TH after. It took us 32 minutes to do FoP with a FP, though we did have a 5-10 delay in one of the preshow rooms.

You might ask the CM at the FP line if you could pretty please go in a little early because you have an ADR. Depending on how the line is, you might get some pixie dust.

I think 10:45 is the last breakfast, so if you want breakfast, you're not going to be able to move it later.

ETA: There is a path straight from near the FoP exit to Africa. It won't be a long walk.

This is what I would do as well. That path won't be crowded at all so you should be able to keep a quick pace over there.

It is a really quick walk from the exit of FOP to Tusker House using the back exit. They will honor your ADR as long as you aren't more than 15 minutes late. It will be tight, but should doable. It will all depend upon how long you have to wait in the fast pass line. When we were there in June, with the line, the entry show and the actual ride, I think it took us appx. 30 minutes or so.

Like other posters mentioned, I would go to FoP about 10:05-10:10 and very nicely explain to the CM that you booked the FP a little too close to breakfast and is it at all possible to go in a few min early. You can show them your reservation if necessary. As long as you were pleasant about the whole thing most times they're accommodating. I don't know if its possible to actually call a restaurant directly, but, as a precaution I might have the dining line number in my phone in case you needed to call and explain that you were on the way to the reservation but you were stuck in a queue longer than expected....just in case that does happen. Hopefully it won't.
