10/2-8/11 Jamborini Meet was great! Now planning for Oct 2012!

Hi from hot and muggy WDW!!!!

This is supposed to be the last 90 degree day for awhile - looking forward to a little less hot & humid!!

The Food & Wine Festival is in full swing!

I'm at Dolphin this weekend -- no surprise, it's booked! They still upgraded me to a balcony (view of Swan & the Friendships boat dock ) and they are now referring to me as a "frequent guest"!!!

Looking forward to dinner this evening with Diana & family - at LaHacienda.

Safe travels to everyone and I can't wait to see you!!!

So we arrived yesterday evening and made it to the festival around 5 pm.
The crowds were there, not as bad as last years Saturday night but heavier than I was expecting. About 20 people in lines for some booths and 5 in others. We ended up just going to La Cava and waiting for our friends.

The walking traffic was very heavy, just trying to get around people was the hardest.

I did get one of the messenger style bags, with 15 on it from last years banners.

Will try food today and hopefully post more about it tomorrow.

Looks like the rain might be following us down, a bit. Scattered shower or T-storm projected every day Fri- Wed, right now. Not that THAT'S all that unusual.

I just hope Tues, the 11th, manages to stay somewhat dry.

We sampled along the way today , first stop was France for an Orange slushie and then on around the world showcase.

It was so hot and humid I was soaking thru my clothes. I came back to the room for a swim and change of clothes. Being so close here it was perfect.

We have dinner tonight at Saana but not so sure everyone will be hungry. Maybe just put off tonights reservation.

Monday's Meet at AKL was small but fun! Only 4 Jamborinis and a very understanding husband!

I think we got a good group picture or 2. We found a new way to pose!!!


Today's meet 4pm at BC Solarium will be better attended since most of us are either staying there or plan to be in Epcot today.

Thanks for posting the picture, Brandi! It was fun! Great to see y'all! So sorry two of our Jamborinis were missing. DisneyBride'03 was on her way to the airport and John's Mom had been to the AKL meet on Monday, but couldn't join us today.

Thanks, Kathy! It was fun - sorry the group was so small, but we still had a good time, didn't we and it was great to meet you & your DH!

This picture came out really good - I'm glad you posted it! Our Jamborini pose worked well for us, but I got laughed at Tuesday when I did it -- I guess it only works at AKL!!

My pictures are too blurry so I don't think I'll be able to post any, but I'll check when I get them onto the computer!
