I think most of us sailed in January and will be using the $99 coupon for this cruise.

In yesterday's mail, I received the shore excursion brochure and instructions. It sure helps to make our upcoming cruise seem like more of a reality!

We got ours Friday also. DW is still trying to decide if she wants to parasail at Castaway Cay.

I have not gotten anything. Would this go directly to my TA? In fact, now that I think back, we never got anything like this for the seven day that we took last January...

Can someone let me know the times for parasailing at CC? What is the latest time that you can do this? Thanx in advance for any info.

The Disney excursion sheet says the parasailing starts at 9 a m and runs every hour. I would think the last one would be at 3 because everyone has to be aboard by 4:30.

Yes, the final payment was due at the time of booking since we were using our $99 vouchers. This is the first time I have actually received this in the mail. You can go to the DCL website and get the information (but I remember having to search a bit to find it).

scduckman - I cannot believe that your DW would consider doing the parasailing. If you want to join her, we'd be happy to watch your DD and take some pictures for you. Let us know...

I was the one to mention doing the parasailing. I asked DW if she had any interest. She has a week to decide.

I find this to be a giant step for the lady that was hesitant to try new menu items! I admire you for even considering it. I'm still trying to work up the nerve to try RnR at MGM!

Dh and I just made ressies for the Dolphin swim at 1:00. Anyone else doing this??? Anyone else already try this? It sounds like fun to me!

Ashley24 - We did the dolphin swim back a couple years ago and loved it! Our group was my sister, her DS11, my DD9, and me. It is quite the thrill, especially when you realize you are in the water touching and playing with dolphins. The grand finale is when one or two dolphins push you across the water.

Bring your credit cards! There is a lot to buy if you want to. We bought the video and decided on buying a photo album. You need to decide beforehand if you want to buy the photo album (and I remember it was pretty pricey). The photographer makes sure to get pics of you and your group for each type of dolphin interaction and then arranges the pics in a photo album. I am so glad we decided to buy it. We look at it all the time.

We also bought the video. The thing with the video is it will include all members that were at the swim at that time of day (around 10 people). You can view it after the dolphin swim and then decide if you want to purchase it or not. It's fun to watch. You can hear some of the things people are saying in your group, so be careful what you say! Our video has a guy yelling that he was losing his suit when the dolphins were pushing him! However, there was no visual evidence of this on the video.


There is also a shop with t-shirts, postcards, etc.

scduckman - 8 days till San Diego and Disneyland!! You may hear more about the Disneyland Hotel's swimming pool than Disneyland if their heat wave continues. It's been in the mid to upper 90's!!!

Can you give me a ballpark figure for the photo album? It sounds like something I would like BUT would like to budget for it! Thanks!
