No docs here either. I went onto the DCL website & checked our reservation & alas, no upgrade. I wasn't really expecting one so no big deal. We have temps in the 50's here today so I am REALLY looking forward to that hot Caribbean weather! :sunny:

None for me either, but since they will come from a TA and not DCL directly, I would expect them to arrive a few days later. I've already filled out the necessary paperwork online so there won't be much to do when I receive them other than get excited!

Have to ask...anyone gotten upgraded?

No upgrade here... curious if anyone else has received one.

E-mail from TA informing me that docs have arrived and she is sending them on right away!

We sit on the porch, we sit and we wait
Our Man in Brown, he's never late!
He passes us by with a wave and a smile
heading down the road adding another mile.
What? He didn't stop? Does he not know?
Our cruise is coming fast, soon we'll have to go!
Who would have thought waiting for papers would be so hard!
I think I need a Margarita, I'll take one in a yard!

I guess we'll be the last to receive our docs as they will be delivered to the Pop Century on 10/5 :sad2:
But I have to admit that I'm rather on vacation waiting for my docs than having my docs and waiting for my vacation :lmao:

Doing the docs dance here! :dance3: :dance3:

It is sooooooooo close now! I've been lurking a lot but LOVE the poems! We have been really busy here with kids in school and a father who is sick so we can't wait for this cruise!!

Can't wait to meet everyone!

The documents are finally here!
that means the cruise is really near! :thumbsup2
Not 4 weeks, a month or a year! :hourglass
Just 21 days 'til we're at the pier! :boat:
Start packing your clothes, don'r forget your gear! :laundy:
Cruistoberfest, we'll toast with a beer! :drinking1

:dance3:
Matt and I got our documents today!!

:dance3:

But I have to admit, I was expecting, "more". No real information to ponder. I was hoping they would at least include the stateroom gift options so I could heavily hint to my husband. Unfortunately, I just had to "gift" myself, oh well.

I really like the new stateroom celebration options, they look fun.

I don't know what prompted me to do it but I checked out departure time for our flight home. Sure enough Air Tran had changed the time to 10:46 AM. I think that might just be a tad stressful on debarkation day. Thankfully they let me cancell that ressie but they had nothing departing until after 3 pm arriving in BWI after 9PM

So now a new flight search begins :guilty:

Yeah, AirTran switched our flights too. We were arriving around 7:00 on Friday night, they switched it to 10:00 which was just too darn late. Soooo, convinced husband we should arrive earlier Now we're leaving our house at 4:00 a.m. and getting to Orlando by noon! Whoo hooo. Have reservations for the first time ever at Animal Kingdom Lodge (instead of staying at the airport). So yeah, I'm soooo excited!

They switched our returning flights too but now it's 1:30 instead of 3:30 so I guess it worked out well for us.

Congrats. You will love the AKL!!!! My favorite of all the resorts. I have spent many a happy hour watching the animals. Nothing better than getting breakfast at Mara taking it back to the room and watching the a.m. feeding. The food at Boma is wonderful. They have the best soups. If they have the program where the gamekeepers have the night vision binoculars out, it is worth a peek.

AKL is our home away from home. Did you book a savannah view? Did you, did you? :hyper: They have the baby red river hogs aaaaaalll the way at the end of the Kudo trail. Just use the left stairwell at the end of the hall. Look down and their pen is right there. They are only out at certain times so you might want to ask someone the schedule. There are tons of nooky and cranny places. There are rocking chairs on balconies and at the fire pit to relax. I hear story telling is great. Sadly our schedule hasn't allowed for it. I keep saying "this is the trip" but it's still to be seen. Mara's african stew is very yummy so are the Zebra domes. Boma's has zebra domes on their dessert options at dinner. Boma's breakfast is great and I highly suggest wearing elastic britches. Let's see, there is a free culinary tour offered each day that allows you to sample a few things from Jiko's and Boma's. They also talk about the features of the restaurants itself and customs. I think it starts about 4 p.m. and I thought it was great. Jiko's has great food and wine list. I've always been pleased with the service here. Some worry about being so removed, but that's why it's so relaxing. The people there don't seem so rushed and it's all about your surroundings. I'll be there post cruise. I'm seriously homesick!

192 mini bottles of schnaps! :faint: That tour is sounding like it'll be easier on my wallet. :rotfl: Do you guys want to come around on embarkation day before we muck it all up with our junk? Maybe a mini-Dis meet or something? I'm sure I can arrange for some snackies. It isn't huge so I don't think it'll fit 100 Disers at one time but I'm sure people don't care if the party spills out into the hallway. ;) :rotfl2:

I've not received my docs. I booked with a TA so I'm guessing she'll get them soon and send them down my way. :goodvibes

I can't believe we are so close now! :cheer2:

My wonderful DW just booked AKL as well. We fly in Thur night and plan to relax at AKL all day...swim, eat, enjoy the sun...if not for the animals it is exactly what we have planned on the Magic all week as well...YEE..HAAA!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :yay:

So wishing we could do a night at AKL pre-cruise. Enjoy

The Germs have made it to the USA! :car:
Let's give a shout! A Hip Hip Horray! :cheer2:
This means the cruise is drawing near :boat:
the Magic's horn we will soon hear!
Then it's a double dip at Castaway Cay! :beach:
What an awesome time for you and me! :thumbsup2
