Just 30 days? Can this be true?
By gosh, by golly, what will we do?
There's bags to pack and clothes to buy!
Don't you grow another size, big guy!
We've waited so long for this trip to come
now we'll show up looking like a bum!
With so much to do, and so little time
I better get busy and end this rhyme!

Way to go, Michele! 8 whole lines.....is that a first? You rock, girl!

Sir Viking - I sent you a PM. I hope you can help me fix my problem. ;)

Looks like some of us got to play ring-a-around the flight times game. I was right in there with you. Looks like fares have gone down and they've added more times for my situation but it's too late to do anything now. I had an opportunity to change the time but it was for an earlier time and DH couldn't leave work. By the time it was over, I had to cancel my flight to MCO and we'll use the credit for our May cruise and booked another one way flight with another carrier to get to MCO. I kept my non-stop with Delta for our return home. I've been stream lining all my flights with Delta for mileage reasons. I'm went outside the box and booked with Air Tran since they are the next airline with somewhat decent flight times out of my airport. I hope I'm not disappointed with Air Tran. I've never flown with them before.

If anyone else is looking for a part-time travel hostess I find it fun looking for deals and stuff. It's yet another hobby of mine. :teeth:

DS10, Nathan, is glad to see quite a few kids around his age will be sailing. :thumbsup2 But my goodness! 6 or 7 children. :faint: I need to buy you guys a drink. ::yes::

I'm also digging the poems. :goodvibes Keep 'em coming.

I can't believe how many are packing already. I'm going to pack as much as I can the weekend before. I did buy some formal wear and new shoes. :teeth: I also a bottle of sunscreen since we are almost out. Does that count? How about I'm running through my mind all the things I want to bring? I call that preparing to pack and it should most definitely count. ;)

We're getting so close!

My Grandaughters are coming from Tennesse and are so excited. They just received a wonderful postcard from someone on the boards with a picture of the ship. They could not believe how big the ship is. I can't wait to see their faces when they see the real thing.

I have flown Air Tran many times and have never had any problems with them.

I just had a ding from Southwest for our flights and was able to save $140 which can use for my Dec trip to WDW.

I see some nice reviews on the transportation board but we are flying into Atlanta which is making me nervous. We are on the last evening flight out. I'm sure if they delayed people it's because they are waiting for us to arrive in order to fill that last plane. :teeth:

Grandma D - I think DCL has the prettiest ships out there as far as the design goes.

Maid Bonnie,
I replied to your request and sent you instructions on how to pass the drawbridge into our castle :lmao:

I can resort to bribery so you will not tell how big of a dork I really am. ;) Pick a drink, any drink! :teeth:

:rotfl2: Bonnie, the first drink will be on us as we Germans will bring 192 mini bottles of Schnaps for the Sail-Away-Party :drinking1
But DW & I would love to have a tour of your stateroom, if that is possible during that week :yay: And of course I know how to zip my lip!!!! :thumbsup2

Me too! (Poor Bonnie doesn't realize what she's gotten herself into when over 100 Cruisetoberfesters request a cabin tour!)

Sounds like the easiest answer is "open house" for an hour. Maybe you can charge admission and to start a cruise fund for next year :rotfl:

Having seen both the Roy and Walt suites they are worth a peek. With unlimited funds I would book the Roy in a heartbeat.

I called this morning and got this list of movies for the 10/14 cruise:

Cars
Chicken Little
Eight Below
Narnia
POC - Dead Man's Chest
Shaggy Dog
The Guardian
The Wild
Stick It
Step Up
Invincible

The days to count are just twenty five!
My mind is buzzing like a beehive!
I am so excited, I just can't wait!
I am nervous, for the airport, we can't be late!
With 3 days at the beach, and 2 at the pool
this vacation is just going to be too cool!
Relaxing and reading, spending time with the kids
It's what we look forward to, & to Mickey, I tip my lid.

Great poem Michele.

Sounds like a good list of movies too.

We've seen some of them but not all which is good.

Fiona

UPS just delivered our docs too! Woo-hoo!

They really should send you something more exciting in those packages...like a magnet or sand...or something!!

Have to ask...anyone gotten upgraded?
