10/12/08-4 night Wonder anniversary cruise

Got our docs today!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

MBB - Sorry about the game Sunday. Maybe Guss will do better.

Ok, I am on vacation 3 weeks from right now :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Time to figure out who is who... I've got Laura and her family down as well as Kim and her DD due to signatures but we need pictures of everyone else so we can memorize and hopefully know each other when we see each other on the ship.

Here is one of John and I at Osbourne Lights last year.

Who's next?

Got to run... Mountaineers play in an hour and I've got vaccuming to do first

We got our documents Tuesday - very very exciting!! Although I am a little concerned that in the front of the travel booklet it appears that a page was taken out - I am totally paranoid that was our ticket and we won't be able to get onboard when we check in!! Anyone else's look like that?? The little stub is there but the first thing you see when you open up the travel booklet is a page that says "Mailing Information" on the top right corner. Please set my mind at ease!! LOL

I have a question for you Disney Cruise pros: how much money should I anticipate spending?? Just DD (5) and I cruising and no excursions planned - although we will probably do a little (and I mean a little) shopping in Nassau. Other than that just souveniers and tips. Any ideas???

Lucy

P.S. Go Cowboys!!! LOL!!

Got my documents yesterday!!!!

Yes my document looks like a page is missing also I think we are good to go! There is no way I won't get on that ship! Let them try to stop me!!!!!

Ok I am not a Disney Cruise pro, but when I went on a 4 night cruise on Carnival 2 years ago, I spend about $400 but that was because there was a casino. I am a huge gambler, which means you will probably find me in quite a few of the bingo games. It Depends on how much you want to tip. On my vacations I usually figure on spending $100 a day, but because this is a cruise and food and normal drinks are included, probably half that.

Any one else?

Still haven't got our docs! I'm checking with travel agent. Should I panic?

Don't panic! the travel agent will get the info first and then past it on to you.
I'm still waiting for ours to arrive also, my travel agent is a friend of ours so she see all the documents before we do.
You should see them by the middle of next week if not before.

Thanks Bob! Just double-checked with her and she'd got 'em!! Will Fedex in the next day or so. Now I've just gotta fill out all the online paperwork.

Hey -- is there gonna be a meet once everyone is on board?

hey I am feeling left out, nothing here yet, and my DD decided to start coming down with a cold. What is up with that? I have tried to explain to her that the trip is coming and she is not allowed to get sick. Kids they never listen.

Hi Kimiza, better to be sick now then on the cruise, she still has plenty of time to get better before the trip!
I hope she is feeling better soon.

Do they let Cowboys fans live in Florida? LOL

Good question on how much to bring money wise, you won't need any cash for the cruise except for tips. I know we bring more than we ever think we will use just to be on the safe side and plastic always comes in handy for larger souvenirs.
I thinks thats more up to you on how much to bring meaning your spending habbits...........OK so I wasn't any help with this question....sorry!

I think we are going to meet up, if anyone can make it in the Promenade Lounge around 3:30-4:00 before mandatory muster drill at 5:00

I talked to my TA Yesterday. She contacted Disney - who said they should be rec'd by her on the 23rd and she will overnight them to me. I think everyone getting them must have direct booked???

Ok, thanks!! You've put my mind at ease!! At least if it's a problem the first page isn't there I won't be the only person they're trying to stop from boarding!! LOL!! I'm right there with ya!!!

I was figuring about $300 total ($100ish for tips and $200 "spending") so that sounds about right with what you said. Thanks for the advice!

LOL!! Thanks for trying to help answer my questions anyway!! Maybe the whole Cowboys fan in Florida thing explains why we got weird looks when we wore Cowboys jerseys to the Jags/Panthers game last year!!!

Good Morning everybody!! 3 weeks from today we should be on the road heading to PC.
Maybe they will show the Wonder this weekend.

Just wondering what other documentation are you referring to?
Are we required to fill out paperwork for entry to Bahamas?? Being fr Canada we only have passports, birth certificates. Are we missing anything that anyone is aware of? Will they have forms to fill out at port? Never been on a cruise before.

Did you fill out the on line check-in on the Disney Cruise line web site?
If you haven't yet it will save you a lot of time in line at check-in!

Thanks, I forgot about those. I just asked DS. He said we're set as he took care of them. One less thing I have to worry about.:confused3

I started packing, unpacked, repacked and still not certain if I have what I want.:scared1:

Anyhow, I'm off now on a 3 day workshop. That should pass some time before the big day.:yay:

Until next time
