10/12/08-4 night Wonder anniversary cruise

Hi everyone!!!

I am leaving for WDW in 36 hours and have TONS to do as DH is in bed after having to have a tooth pulled  this morning. Thank goodness it happened at home and not at Disney, not that I wanted it to happen at all.

Just one more day of work and I am there so I wanted to pop in tonite as I may not be on tomorrow night and say Hi and Bye ..

I'll fill everyone in on the trip as soon as I get back..

BTW, only 317 days till we cruise :yay: :yay:

Take care

Hello fellow shipmates, thought I would pop in to wish Kelly and Mary a wonderful trip.
Barb and I leave next Thursday for a three night Wonder cruise and a four night WDW stay :woohoo: boy do we need this vacation!!!!
Anyone else going to the World or Land in December? this is one of the best times I think to visit Disney, they sure do know how to decorate for the holidays.

Well, Sue and I are heading down in a couple of days to have our first Christmas in WDW and we can't wait. So are any of you going to be in WDW over the next couple of weeks?

Happy Holidays to all our fellow cruisers! :santa:

Please report when you get back.....:santa: We are planning a trip for next year going down around the 18th....So I would like to know how things are leading up too Christmas week....:thumbsup2

I am all done with my shopping and ready too enjoy the season and then we set sail on Navigator of the seas Jan 19th....I finally have my flights booked from a DING!!:cool1: So I have that too look forward too.

Have a great time!

Michelle:santa:

Keith -

Have a wonderful time!!! We had a blast last week, I just haven't had time to write up a trip report since we got back but pictures and video is coming hopefully by Saturday. Parks and resorts are gorgeous, even more than last year! Crowds weren't bad for us, and the weather GREAT!!!

Just 305 days till we cruise :)

Hello fellow shipmates, just got back from a three night Wonder cruise and a four night WDW trip. WOW what a great cruise we had, the weather was perfect for the cruise and the land portion of the trip. Castaway Cay is so nice words just can't say enough I hope to get a few picks up in the next few days.
I couldn't wait for our cruise (10/12/08) to get here and now that I've been on the Wonder it's no Wonder why everyone loves this ship, it is incredible.
We went from 84º Thursday afternoon in Florida to 19º and 10" of snow in Connecticut just a few hours later :sad2: what a bummer.
This trip can't come fast enough, 9 months 3 weeks 6 days and change to go.

Welcome home Bob. Glad you had such a wonderful time on the Wonder and in the parks.

I heard on the DIS podcast today that the Wonder will be in drydock for 3 weeks in September so we will be one of the first cruises after it returns to sea. No word on what the improvements/changes will be.

Also DH and I switched from a land sea cruise to sea only with three days after the cruise in the parks. When we did the math, and he fact that we had 3 free nights available at the Staybridge Suites via my Holiday Inn points we realized we could save almost $1000 doing it this way. We have stayed at Staybridge before, it is a great suite hotel, just outside the gates of DTD and since we will have our car it was a no brainer. So we will be arriving in Port Canaveral late Friday night, checking into the Radisson for 2 nights then going to NASA and exploring on Saturday before the pre-cruise dinner, then heading over to the port on Sunday morning to cruise. On Thursday we will head to WDW for three days before coming home on Sunday. I must say I am much happier with this arrangement.

We are under 300 days yippee...

If I am not back before the holidays, John and I wish each of you the best season of love and joy possible, may you find your homes and hearts full of love ones and dear friends. Merry Christmas

Hey all--

Haven't posted on our thread here for a while...we were at WDW the same week as Kelly, came home to get ready for holidays, took MIL to ER on 12/23 and she's still in the hospital. So needless to say, I've been a little distracted.

But I did reserve a room at the Country Inn and Suites. They had a bunk bed room that is cancellable so I reserved that for now. I saw the Radisson has a prepay $99 rate for a regular guest room...I may think on that later.

I'm looking forward to a year of fun travel! I'm off to Cinci for a conference here in 2 weeks, we're hoping for a quickie weekend to WDW in late May, a trip to DC in June and then our cruise in Oct.! Whew!

NOW WE CAN OFFICIALLY SAW WE ARE SAILING ON THE WONDER THIS OCTOBER!!!:cool1:  :cool1:

It seemed so far off when we booked, but now it is 2008 and we are atleast within the year of going....

Now I just need to start paying on it!!

So how did everyone's Christmas trips to Disney go...We are really trying to plan for next year if I can swing it with our October Wonder trip.

I do want to go too MNSSHP in October and we have free tickets too Seaworld. So I suppose I will stay off site or maybe rent some points and stay at the BWV after the cruise???? So much planning!:cloud9:

Hope this year is great for all of us!

Michelle

I hope everyone had a great & happy new year!!!!party:

I agree Josie, the cruise is coming fast & it will be here before we know it.

I am afraid the Steelers are going to be one & done this year.:sad1:

Hi all.. Happy New Year to everyone.

I actually have been in bed with a sinus infection and bronchitus since Sunday so I forgot to come here earlier to share my HNY wishes.

Off to watch my mountaineers in the Fiesta Bowl.. Take care..Planning is now upon us so start sharing ideas and such.

Great game last nite by WVU!!!:thumbsup2
My mom's side lives only 30 minutes from the university, so of course we pull for WVU also. I hope the new coach works out OK.

He wanted them too beat OK since they beat Mizzou!!!:goodvibes So he was happy!

I e-mailed my DVC point person about renting points for the Animal Kingdom Villas after the cruise.:cool1:
Hope I can get it set up. This way I can pay it off way before we go.

Michelle

Yup we are pretty happy with the way the Eers played and how the represented the entire University and state. I think they earned alot of respect and a few new fans with that game. Now to see what Coach Stew can really do.
