10/10 and "Insane" Predictions for MK

We currently have a BOG dinner at 4:30 and then a Plaza Garden Dessert Party booked for a Wednesday that Touring Plans is predicting will be a 10/10 crowd level and Kenny the Pirate is predicting will be "Insane" (it is the Wednesday after Easter). There are EMHs that night.

I'm glad we have the party for this night, but, I am reconsidering visiting MK at all that day and going on Thursday instead which is predicted to be lower crowd wise. I can still book the party for Thursday, but will lose the BOG dinner at 4:30 (unless something comes up on the reservation finder of course). Everything else I can rearrange pretty well. The only other disadvantage is to make other ADRs work I would need to move our AK day to 60+4 which may be harder to get a FOP FP (as opposed to 60+6 before).

I think it boils down to how badly we want the BOG dinner and a chance to ride FOP. Which I just can't decide on not knowing how bad the crowds will really be that Wednesday. What would you do? (FYI we are not doing hoppers.)

MK will be crazy busy for the entire week after Easter. While Wednesday will be busier due to the EMH that night, I'm not sure the miniscule amount of crowds for Thursday is worth moving everything around. If you can move things and get the FoP FP+, then do it, but I wouldn't fret over it too much.

Thanks that's a good point... it will be busy any way so I am not sure really how "less" busy it will be without the EMH. And we won't be planning to use them, just leave after the fireworks, so maybe that is a good thing as some will be staying at the park rather than leaving? Maybe?

I never take Crowd Calendars seriously, as WDW is always busy. I've been on level 10 days (whatever that is actually operationalized as) and didn't even notice because I was having such a good time.

I would keep BOG dinner and Dessert Party and have an awesome time

Many schools plan their Spring Break around Easter. Easter is one of the busiest times of the season. The only good thing is that Easter is in April. You will miss college spring break season. You may miss some other schools that have SB during March as well. However, expect insane crowds that whole week at all parks. It is almost XMas type crowds

That whole week is crazy busy. I would just expect 10/10 every day. On a brighter note, the weather is beautiful that time of year

I never check crowd calendars anymore, they are rarely correct. it's always busy.
