Is this a selectable option somewhere?

the countdown timers are switched off for the next 24 to 48 hours due to technical reasons. That's what they say on the Technical Support Board.

Hi everyone:

Hope everybody had a happy 4th of july.

Well we found out that we do not get the $200 on board credit for rebooking on board along with the florida discount but we still end up ahead of the game because the price differance is slightly ahead of the on board booking credit and we still end up with a better room. We got the discount because Andy has a florida license. The florida discount is only available for certain categories and since we are still booking lower categories we have no where to go but up.....

As far as the gift exchange is that swapped ahead of time or on the boat and how do you know who to give the gift to? Are names chosen out of a hat or something to that effect?

giftswap will be 60 days before the cruise via mail or personally. Peter & Jen will draw the respective partners out of a hat - Or perhaps Hogwarts can lend us the Sorting Hat

It has been cooler the last couple of days but is supposed to heat up this weekend again.

DS has done amazingly well so far this week at getting himself up and out. Guess it makes a difference if he's getting paid to be there. He left the house at 6:30am this morning just after I got up.

Waiting for the countdowns to come back esp. as we are below the 90 day mark now.

I picked it up at the post-office today. Funny thing: I ordered a iPaq h1930, but they sent me an iPaq h1940, which has Bluetooth-technology and costs €80-100 more Obviously they didn't have any of the smaller ones, so they sent me the better one - They won't hear any complaints from me

Had the day from hell at work today ... so bad that I started to think I was on "Candid Camera" (some of the older folks will know what that was). I work for a federal agency that does retirement and survivor benefits for railroad workers and their families. Just one example of a call I got - telephone caller from another state "The checker at the Wegman's told me that she was married to a railroader and he died. She wants to know what to do." ME ... No problem, I'll help her - What's her name? ... Caller "I don't know". ME ... What's her phone #, so I can call her? Caller "I don't know. She just want a brochure"
Me ... I'll be glad to send her one, What's her address?"
Caller ... "I don't know, but can you just mail her the booklet "
OK .. Give me a hint ... WHAT THE HECK DO YOU WANT ME TO DO!Now believe me I didn't make that one up. If any of you know where to get a crystal ball, let me know, cause apparently I need one for work!!!!!!!

Loved the site for the Thank You cards for the DCL staff.

Now back to work on updating my packing list, Disney Book, name tags, etc.

Susan provided me with a lot more info about her group, so it's time for another update. Unfortunately I wont be able to do it before the weekend. I'll take a lot of work home this weekend, have a meeting of all the volunteer instructors at our ambulance station, and have to play around with my new PDA
I hope to find some time for the update Friday or Saturday night, so please send all request for changes/additions until early afternoon EST FRiday.

Ave -- really I'm just jealous because we haven't had the opportunity yet to complain about the heat -- although it was really warm last weekend in NH.

Kim/Bette -- was looking at our travel section this morning in the paper and there was an advertisement for a Christmas Tea special in your local historical inn. Thought it was neat that I actually knew where that was!

Had one of those myself yesterday. It seemed all the drama that I missed on my week away from my desk decided to all pop up at lunch time yesterday and continue until 5:00, as I packed up and ran for the door. (Thank god for Fridays, which are Wednesdays for me!) I always forget that the inmates are with us because they make bad choices, yet I seem to be continually surprised at their actions sometimes. At least I can say I never have the same day twice at work!

It looks like they extended our time in Antigua from the last time I looked. I had us arriving at 0700, leaving at 1730, but it looks like we arrive at 0600 and stay until 1830. So more shopping time after our excursion!

Sam and I will probably just do the Palo brunch, but I was wondering if we would show up for dinner one evening and be the only ones there, not that that would be a problem. Just curious.

Unfortunately we don't know that word any longer. Our vocabulary nowadays consists mainly of: Rain, storm, hail, flooded basements, uprooted trees, etc
As usual Frankfurt got spared , but in Bavaria, in the Danube-region, and in former Eastern Germany all hell broke loose today and is still raging. We even haven't set up our fan this year so far. We need a Caribbean-fix - The sooner the better
