Good Morning or afternoon where ever you are located. Spitting a little snow here this am.

Love survivor, but they need to get rid of Jenna, too much mouth. Thursday night is a good one for tv with survivor, csi. Wish that they had not moved JAG to fridays.

Katie has been sick for the last week. Stomach virus or upper respiratory infection.

We have had about 4 inches of rain in the last day or so. Does anyone know any good ark builders?? Mike

well im not sure if this has been explored or not

have we looked into the option of doing a Group booking ??
Eric i know u can t beat your discount but maybe the rest
of us can since we booked on board we got the $200.00
shipboard credit... probably would loose that....

Anyone ??????

Good morning everyone too. Well, I'm happy to say that me and Haley got 11 1/2 hours of much needed sleep! I was so exhausted last week that I could barely keep my eyes open last night. Lenny took Haley and sent me to bed. I passed out immediately and didn't get up until 10:00 am when Haley princess: called "momma" from her room.

The weird thing is I have no idea why I was so tired. I didn't do anything "extra". I was so tired that my eyes burned to keep them open. Oh well, I feel MUCH better now. I guess I better since I got so much sleep. :teeth:

Better go and fix Haley some breakfast since she hasn't had anything to eat since 9 pm last night.

I thought someone was going to look into that too???? If I remember correctly, when we made our ressie, we asked about that since so many of us were rebooking. I think the reservation person said we would get a better deal by keeping the booking on the ship instead of doing a group thing. Maybe if she gets commission for doing bookings, she would lose so that's why she said that??? She said we would lose our $200.00 ship credit too.

If anyone wants, I can call DCL to check on this. I just need to know how many ressies we would "group" together. I just thought of something else. Can they only be grouped if they are made through DCL? What about ones that are through DU or other travel agencies?

This is something we did last year.....and will do again

WE are planning on going to Grill restaurant on Friday Oct 1 to have a snack and see the Disney Wonder depart on their cruise @ 5 pm. Is anyone else interested in going. We will have my car so we have space for 3 more.If you've never done this...it's really cool...You can almost touch the ship as it sails by....

That sounds great. We should be able to get some good pictures of the Wonder. I'll check with Lenny (hopefully I can peel him away from the slide at Ron Jon). :teeth:

Depends on our arrival time at the Radisson, but we're interested in going to the Grill restaurant.

Bette & Kim,
our newest addition, two-foxes, are both in law enforcement. So perhaps you can make another trade for your friend Tim.

I just called Group Sales at DCL, and this is what I found out:

1. We must have a minimum number of 8 staterooms

2. We must have a minimum number of 16 full paying adults

3. We would definitely lose the shipboard credit we received when we booked onboard.

Since Group Sales is closed weekends, I have to call back Monday if we want more info on this. Their number is 800-511-6333 in case anyone else wants it.

So should we look more into this? The person I just talked to said most likely we did better by booking onboard than we will if we group the ressies.

Any thoughts from anyone else? We can still call and see if we can get more info though, but we probably need to provide them with more details of our current ressies.

Kim and Bette, I may take you up on the Grill offer. It depends on what time we leave PCB that morning. And I may just come without DH and kids. After 7 hours in the car with them I may need a bit of a break from them, and them from me.:p I'll let you know.
Got to run, lots of stuff to do today.
Later, Ave'

Count us in on the get together at the Grill Rest. Sounds like fun and a nice way to start off the vacation!

Eric: so glad I was able to augment your vocabulary......I always aim to further one's education!

I'm hoping to put together the dining table links as soon as I get all the details from the people in our group. So far I have the needed info from Nancy and Mary Jo........just waiting to hear from Arlene. I'm just curious.......have the other late diners already put together a table? If so please, let me know (you can pm me the last names, I probably won't need anthing more). This way I can try to get tables close together or at the very least, the same rotation. It doesn't seem like there will be many kids....is it safe to assume we'd all get L-A-P?

Watch out Grills...Here we come !!!!!:jumping1:

Ave....Where are you ??????

The List is in your mailboxes - check it out.

C U later (Between German Idol/The Show and German Idol/The Decision I'll get back to you:wave2:

Bettemom....I'm right here. :jester:
Eric, thanks for the list. But Mark "crashed" our computer last week, so I lost my Words Program. I just hate when he does that.
jeanneg, Rellingtwin and my family are already linked. We have a total of 8 in our group. On our first cruise we invited a couple to eat with us. And while we had a wonderful time, I think asking anyone to eat with our 4 kids everynight was a bit much. Last cruise we sat near a bunch of people from our group, and that was great. We had the ALP rotation, late seating. This year we have early seating, but we are thinking about changing to late seating. Now that our kids are a little older, we may want to link up with some fellow cruisers. What do you think Mary?

Must be great for Mark: A women who lost her Words Program must make an ideal wife :teeth: :jester:

If anyone wants to check out Grills website the link is:

Ave, I think it would be GREAT to be seated near other Cruisetoberfesters, BUT...since we already have 8 at our table I would hesitate to add additional diners. The year we had 10 at our table, we always seemed to be the last people served, and while I don't mind a slow paced dinner, it was hard on the kids to wait so long. Also I am still thinking about doing the early dinning. Last year I was SO tired by the time dinner was over, all I wanted to do was go to bed. I'd like to try to stay up past 10pm this year! ::yes:: Since we have "main" dinning reserved, we can always change to late.

Eric, thanks for the list! We have a ways to go to get the number of cruisers we have had for past cruisers. If there are any "lurkers" out there, stop lurking and say hello!

DH is SO excited about the NASCAR racing season starting!!:hyper:

The kids have a friend spending the night tonight, so I have to get everyone fed. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, milk gravy, collard greens, and biscuits. A REAL "Southern" dinner for this Yankee girl!:teeth:

MaryJo,
the List bounced back from your mail-acount :( Pleas check if your mailbox is full or if there's a malfunction.

Thanks for the link, Mary.

We just checked out the menue and spontaneously decided to have dinner there - YumYum.
They have a coupon giving a 10%-discount if you present a out-of-driver's license or a hotel key.
But more important: They got a Tiki-Bar :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
So count us in, Bette and we would appreciate a lift to the bar as we will drop off our car in Orlando and take a limo to the Radisson - or a van, if we find someone to share it with. We're already in contact with Peter & Jen about that. If anyone else wants to join us we plan on leaving from MCO around 3pm.
