Eric -- Yes, you would think that we would update our method of electing our chief executive. I believe the electoral college was established "way back when" because the candidates and the "common" people had very little, if any, chance to communicate with other. The members of the electoral college would, however, (theoretically, at least) be able to learn what the candidates stood for and would wisely cast their votes for all the people. Well, now that we know that a candidate for president can get a majority of the votes and still lose, it doesn't sound like such a great idea any more to many people, including me. I personally don't want someone else to decide where my vote should go!!!
to join our FANTASTIC dinner table on the cruise. Sam and Jean Cutrera.
won a free cruise and had to go Florida again - but it's still on our list for next year.
Can't wait to meet you two. I don't know what you could have heard about us????
We pretty much behave ourselves (ok, sometimes we do!).
But this is going to pay for some extra shopping in London.
