Sorry Peter, I am point poor myself. By the time my children inherit my DVC membership they probably won't be any points left for them to use. We keep borrowing also.

Wow, today we are to get above freezing. Then back into the deep freeze.

Ave--- Yes, I read Beach House and really enjoyed it. My friend gave me the hard back last year. I just finished Dr. Death by Jonathan Kellerman. It was ok, but didn't enjoy as much as some of his others. I got some new books for my birthday so will be starting on them. These are G A McKevett Savannah Reid Mystery Series (Death by Chocolate). Light mystery reading. After reading so many James Patterson and Jonathan Kellerman, I need some mindless reading.

Wish it was above freezing here but nope it's not. It's cold and windy and snowy. A perfect day to be sitting on CC instead. We have an office lottery pool and everyone here would love to win Friday night as the jackpot is $25 million. If we won I think we'd be down in WDW as fast as we could get a flight.

Back to work since we haven't won the lotto just yet.

well i was bored so i decided to try priceline and hotwire this afternoon since we get in really late the first night of our next trip i thought iwould try hotwire for a room so i punch in the info and it says for 48 bucks we could stay at a downtown disney 3 star hotel.... so i agree and it ends up being the old marriott
wich is now the holiday inn at down town disney...cool

so then for the next night i go over to priceline
punch in 38 buck for a 3 star and my offer was excepted

Disney area at the Sheraton Safari Resort ok so now we r up to less than a hundred bucks for 2 nights ...

we have an SUV witch i got from Alamo for 105.00 for the trip so
we dont mind moving around....total with taxes130.00
jen now says we can stay at a Disney resort for the last night

oh yea going back on priceline and hotwire tomorrow to see if we can get a better rate for a convertable going to see if i can get the car for less than $100.00 save a couple of bucks ....if i can save 30 off the car i can go back on hot wire and get another room for that lol

we leave next thursday .....for along weekend

ok got the car it is an Compact for $61.00 total
and saves me $70.00 bucks hey those sites r kinda fun ...

however the best deal to be had was right on Alamo's website
everybody else wanted more....

$70.00 that is dinner at the flying fish....................

Peter--- Did you notice that Alamo is now charging for the extra driver even if it is your spouse? When we went to WDW in Dec, they wanted to charge me but my receipt said that the spouse was free since I booked in Oct. However, when I was just checking prices for our May trip, noticed this on Alamo's site that all extra drivers are 4.99/day. I don't mind for a short trip but when we are there a number of days we both drive. So I booked with Avis with my AARP discount and $25 off at check in.

I will keep checking until we leave for better rates. I'm just not brave enough to do priceline or hotwire. I guess it is a control issue with me.

I just think it's totally unfair that Peter & Jenn are going again to WDW while we are stuck here. Wahhhh. Just kidding. Sounds like a great weekend.

We are going to see 'The Producers" tomorrow afternoon so that should be good. At least this weekend I'll be getting dressed instead of lying around in pain in my pj's.

Also have to finish putting away the Christmas stuff that I haven't been able to do but the big thing is that I get to clean the bathroom!!!! Can't seem to get my darling DS to clean the sink when he shaves.

Cold here but it is sunny so it's not too bad. Course it will soon be dark but it was sunny!!!!

Must finish up a couple of things so that I can leave for the weekend.

U want to hear unfair .... the last trip we took got us a ticket from southwest because we are members of the rapid rewards program they offer............. still waiting to get them in the mail
then we can travel r/t anywhere Sw fly's

so for this up coming trip since it was sort of last minute
and Southwest had nothing left for good times nonstop of course we went with Song Airlines out of Boston...
So im reading the Cruise Board and find out that for $350.00
each u can get a cat 11 on the JAN 29th wonder sailing...

So i go on to Song Airlines web site to See if they have a flight time early in the morning so we could make the cruise...

And they have an add that says fly between Boston and ORlando twice and u get a free ticket ....
So when i go on and book the air fare for the October Cruise
Witch gets me the 2 flights u need ... So we r Getting another ticket For free travel on Song....

We r not going on the Jan 29th Cruise the Doctor Jen works for
paid about $200.00 p/p to go to dental convention class in Boston the day we leave it is a class on how to be a team player... would not be very Teamly of her to bail on them...
Even though she is a real team player....

Only three weeks till our Disney trip! I've been burning up the internet looking for deals and making plans. I found one excellent deal on tickets. Fl resident 4 day park hopper pass for $109. And even though we will only be there 3 days, it is still the best deal. I have also checked out menus, looking for a place to eat our dinner on our Anniversary. I've settled on The Rose and Crown, Great Britian (Epcot). We've never eaten there, and it sound great. Also we've decided to go to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast on the day we head home. I can't wait to check that place out. Maybe one day we will be able to stay there.

Fiona, Hope you enjoy "The Producers". Don't worry, you'll be cruiseing soon. Hang in there.

Nancy, Have you ever read anything by John Palmer? He writes medical mysteries. Very good stuff IMHO.
