Hi Rosemary & Richard :wave2: good to hear from you.

Folks,
please welcome Tbserena and her family aboard  I just found her info in our mail-box. This means that another update is due. If you have any changes: Deadline is tomorrow (Saturday) noon EST.

Been home the last two days, got a terrible cold :( I watched so many DVDs the last two days that my eyes are square now :jester: I long to work out again - hopefully Sunday.

We're back to temps in the lower 50ies and got storm-warnings for the whole country. The strongest will be up north, but as Germany is so small we'll also get our share.

Hi Rosemary and Richard -- glad you checked in.

When are you going to WDW?

Busy week here at work and next week is looking busy too. Not a bad thing really just tiring. They are working on the heating/air conditioning system and, well, the heating works quite well. We've been basically in a sauna for the week.

It's nice and sunny here today and actually warm -- this is a relative warm though -- it's 4C. It's supposed to get up to 8C tomorrow but then go back down on Sunday. It's supposed to rain tomorrow as well as be warmer. :(

Boy am I ready for spring weather though and a day off.

It's Friday though. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Can anyone tell me what happened last night on the Apprentice? I fell asleep as Omarosa was entering the hospital -- what a whiner. I wanted to hear what Donald said about her but couldn't keep my eyes open.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Cute picture of Katie.

You wouldn't believe how many times I have sworn off watching Survivor because of whatever. And yet, each season, I am drawn back to it!.

MIKE!!!! You lost your Wisdom tooth???? Oh NO! I'll miss all your wise sayings. You are now officially a dum-dum like all the rest of us with no wisdom teeth! LOL!

Mary, Renee, Eric and Fiona - I've been away from this board but I have been posting elsewhere on the DIS. Fiona - Our trip to DisneyWorld is for April 4th at the newly opened and refurbished Port Orleans-French Quarters. Looking forward to it but we are missing the opening of Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival by one week!!!

Speaking of timing, wishing it was a little bit different in regards to your D.C. meet. It is scheduled for the day we have a wedding in Fort Pierce, Florida. Would love to have been able to see you guys again.

How's Art and Kathy doing??? Have you guys heard from Dan and Scott? I have a P.M. out to them that they haven't even read yet. Let then know that please if you hear from them.

To all the Cruisetoberfest III cruisers who do not know me - You are going to meet a GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE!!!!

Hi Rosemary--- We changed our May reservations over to POFQ when the AP rates came out. So please remember to let me know how it is since the renovations. I think this week is when it reopens. I haven't posted on the survivor board since we last talked to each other, but do continue to follow that thread. I've been on the AI and Clay Aiken threads alot. Enjoy your trip to WDW. To bad you miss the Flower and Garden show.

Wonder why no official Apprentice thread on the Community Board? Fionna you got most of what Donald said about Omarosa. Bottom line she didn't have anything wrong with her after both a doctor and the hospital examined her. So glad she is gone. I was so set for a show that another person would get kicked off, and then we had just a recap. Will be interesting next week as it seems Amy and Neal are getting close? And does one of them go because of that. I think it could be Troy and Neal as the final 2, unless Neal messes up because of his relationship with Amy. Apprentice has become my favorite Reality TV show. Survivor just seems to be dragging, and AI is just not the same this year. I have no favorite as this point. I guess since Clay left I have no interest. I really enjoyed his performance on AI this week. I never made it to any concerts in my area when him and Kelley were near me, but see that he is going to be in Allentown, PA for the Musikfest in August. So may try to go to that one. My one friend from work will go with me. Plus being summer time, don't have to worry about the snow. I really do need to get a life.

Mike--- You will always be wise even without those wisdom teeth.

Peter--- I never heard of the majestic list before. I hope you and Jen are doing better since the lost of Shelby. I also had a blond cocker "Prince", he was my first dog when Norm and I got married.

jeanneg--- Congratulations to your son for getting those college acceptance letters and to your daughter for her swimming.

We have squirrels everywhere, since we live by the woods. They love eating the bird food so they hang out here all winter. It gives my 2 beagles something to bark out, not that they need a reason to bark since they do it all the time.

Well, I had better get off these boards. I have to clean my house. Norm left to go to work and I told him I was planning on cleaning while he was gone. So I better get that vacuum moving.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Nancy

Welcome to Tbserena and Family!!!! Are you going to show yourself? Or do we have to wait for the new list? That could take months!:jester:

Eric, I hope you're feeling better.......now get to work!

We just booked a return trip to Disney!:bounce: :bounce: We are going mid May after the kids get out of school. We got a great deal at the All Star Music Resort, $54.00 per night. That is a FL resident discount, plus paying with my Disney Visa. And since we still have two left over days on our park passes, we are all set!

Worked today, also working tomorrow. No rest for the wicked!

Another one of the family I can take off our gift-list (Ask Regina & George) :teeth: This leaves more for the nice members!!
The PDF should have arrived a couple of minutes ago on your outdated computer :jester:

Hi Eric,

I really like tropical Mickey. We vote for him!

Thanks for the list too.

Thanks, Eric, for the new list......it was wunderbar, as usual!

OK, fellow diners, what are we going to call our group? We need to come with something so we can give it to Eric before the next list.

On Friday we just went to contract on a new house. Now that the kids will all be gone, we really needed to downsize. The new home will be considerably smaller, but fulfills my husband's dream of one day living on a golf course. They'll still be plenty of room for the kids when they return, but they'll have to share bedrooms and bathrooms which will not be a problem. Personally, I'd be happy just to close up the unused rooms and stay put, but hubby really wants this badly. The thought of putting our home on the market and cleaning out all our junk is making me frantic. The good thing is that by the time the cruise comes around, it should all be behind us. As of now, we're scheduled to close towards the end of July. If all goes well, we'll truly be in a mood to celebrate in October! In any event, I'm going to need lots of pixie-dust to get through these next several months.......

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ for you, Jeanne - It's the original stuff from the Magic Forests of Germany ;)

And here's some great news for everyone: I finally found a Keeper of The Kids' List :jumping1: Emmie, Tbserena's DD, volunteered to take over this task and will get in touch with all our junior cruisers soon.

Danke schön, Emmie :wave2:

Hi all! :wave2: New here. Don't actually have my trip booked yet. I'm still waiting to see who gets me the best price. But, one way or another I do plan to be on this cruise.

Let's see, the essentials. There's me (28), DH (28), DS (4, turning 5 during cruise), DS (3, two days before cruise). Right now, I'm the most excited about the trip, but it could be because I've been wishing for a cruise since I graduated high school. FINALLY!

I've already become addicted to the boards. I can't stop reading them.

Sorry about your loss again Peter and Jenn. Wish that you could make the DC meet.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

Thanks for the list Eric. Mike

Welcome Izza! Thanks for joining in. Birthdays on the ship are wonderful. On our first ever cruise, our DD turned 12 on formal night. The waiters did a great job of making her feel like a "young lady". We have a bunch of Sept birthdays in our family. DH 9/21 DS 9/22 and DD 9/30. Don't forget to ask for the "birthday pins" at dinner. They are really nice!

Jen and Peter, I know you are still missing your pup.:( Maybe going to the local shelter and adopting a pup that would maybe not have a home could make you feel a little better.

Nancy, have you read Jester, by Paterson yet? I just got it but haven't had a chance to start it yet. This darn work/kids/laundry thing keeps cropping up. :p What did you think about the hockey player that broke the other guys neck? Kinda gives the sport a bad rap. Don't you just HATE that?

jeanneg, good luck with your move. Glad you have the cruise to think about to get you through it.
:teeth:

Sending Fiona and Jim some FL :sunny:
