ScooterL said:If you had points transferred into your account then yes, that would count for your one transfer for this use year. But points that you banked or borrowed from your own account don't count as transfers.

so the points I transferred into O5 UY & banked to my 06 count as my...
Oct. 05 transfer
& not as my Oct 06 UY one time member transaction?![]()
goodScooterL said:Yes. Since your October '05 year runs from October 1 2005-September 30, 2006, you've done your one transfer for your '05 UY. At any time after October 1, 2006, when your '06 UY starts, you would be able to make your one-per-use-year transfer.
I was hoping I'd didn't use up my transfer for 06 already!
Perhaps if he called back & spoke to another CM (then a supervisor if it didn't work out)...DisneyTarheel said:I unfortunately do have first hand experience with this. Was all set to receive 70 pts today from a very nice DISer and MS told him that since he had made a small transfer earlier in the year (but during his prior Use Year) he could not make any more transfers this calendar year. I was quite bummed. Perhaps MS was in error and should have allowed it?![]()

spiceycat said:now I am confused. do you transfer from your own account or someone elses?
if you tranferred from your own account I though it didn't count?
how about members who have more than one member number? they can still transfer to their other accounts?
Actually it's a reincarnation of a rule that was changed and now apparently changed back almost 4 years later.havencruiser said:It's not a new rule. It's a stricter enforcement of an already existing rule.
