1 night on waitlist mid trip?

To try to make long story short, I confirmed march break dates with principal in January this year. Book everything at 11 months including flights with points for March 2009 just to make sure dd9 doesn't miss any school.

New principal changes march break for 2 weeks later. Ugggh.

So yesterday I thought well how much to change flights because my kids won't miss school if I change dates.

Cost to change flights for 2 weeks later now to March 23-30 is $388 CDN.

Call MS yesterday and I got 3 nights VWL and last 3 nights at BCV for studios. Tried the 1 bedroom but soooo many points. Anyhow middle night not available at either WL or BCV. Booked 1 night at AKV value studio just in case.

Waitlisted for either WL or BCV for March 26. Think it will come through? Seems like I won't be able to even unpack.

I'm such a planner, but sort of interested in the split stay idea. It might not be so great once we are homeless for a few hours 2 days possibly.

BTW gave up 5 nights standard studio at BWV so someone will be happy now that their waitlist came through.

That stinks for you. I am pretty new to DVC so I don't know if your wait list will come through. I mean - I don't know how often they come through mid stay, but I think your chances are good. I wouldn't want to be doing all that resort changing either. Good luck!
