I am starting to flip out here, 5 days and counting...

I keep second guessing my choices. We are arriving by car apprx 5pm on a Saturday night and I am looking for a resort near WDW, under $70.00 clean w/ a nice pool, possible continental brkfast. Everytime I think I found the perfect spot I read a bad review and start looking again. This is driving me crazy, this is the only loose end I have and I am beginning to feel silly, that the least part of our trip is taking me the longest to decide on...HELP!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!!

Have you tried the Fairfield at Little Lake Bryan? You are only a few minutes from downtown disney. We stayed at the Courtyard here in April. Tripadvisor gives them all great reviews. There is also a Springhill Suites here too.

I'm not sure if any of the rooms will sleep the number of people in your group, however.

I don't have the website handy, but you can also go to www.marriott.com and find info.
Good luck!

SpringHill Suites, Homewood Suites, Quality Suites will all have rooms that sleep 5 and include breakfast. I'm not sure about the pool at SpringHill but the other 2 have nice pools.

I second Homewood Suites, 2 queen beds & a pull out sofa with separate sitting/bedroom. The breakfast is great, eggs, waffles you can make yourself, suasage or bacon, bagles, danish, juices, etc. They have one of the best "free" breakfasts. Check the rates for the Homewood Suites on Palm Parkway, hotelkingdom.com - it will be listed as Homewood Suites Disney with 4 stars four about $77 per night. They are located about 1 mile or so from the Downtown Disney hotel entrance.

How close to the Magic Kingdom is Homewood? Free shuttle?

I just read some bad reviews on this hotel. Is it the one in Lake Buena Vista?

Homewood is just across I-4 from Disney. You enter from 192. The hotel actually sits adjacent to I-4 - you see it from the highway.

I don't know about a shuttle. We always have a car when we travel. Maybe someone else can answer that, or check their website.

Disneysteve, there is another Homewood Suites close to Downtown Disney on Palm Parkway (Palm Pkwy is off of 535, a block down from Hotel Plaza Blvd).

Familyof14,
which Homewood Suites location did you read negative reviews about? I stayed at the brand new one near Universal last year & it was absolutely wonderful. My sister & her family had 2 rooms at the one on Palm Parkway in March 2004 & enjoyed their stay 110% ! ! !

Heres an excerpt from the discription on hotelkingdom.com for the Homewood Suites on Palm Pkwy regarding transportation:

Guests also enjoy the convenience of complimentary scheduled transportation to and from the Disney Theme Parks.

it was the Homewood Suites at Lake Buena Vista./ I have read so many hotel reviews, that I can't find the comments just now. It was probably on Trip Advisor.
