Need One More Table Service Meal:

.....We will be spending the day at AK and are trying to figure out a place for Dinner. We want to end up at Downtown Disney and Disneyquest that evening so are looking for something in that area or at a nearby resort. We will be on the Free Dining Plan and this will be late September. We are looking at Captain Jack's, Planet Hollywood, and Boatwright's. DH is also interested in the Big River Grille and Shutter's. My parents have ADR's for Boma's that night but DH isn't so sure about that one. LOL :confused3 I have been and enjoyed it but he is a steak and fries kind of guy! LOL I would like him to go though just to see the AKL. Thanks for the help! :wizard: Rebecca

Just to confuse you further, I highly recommend House of Blues, if only for the rosemary cornbread with maple butter.

I so agree! HoB is my fav DTD restaurant. Love the cornbread, voodoo shrimp, everything! Sadly they're not participating in the DDP. :sad2:

On the dining plan, I'd say Wolfgang Puck's Cafe. I haven't dined there, but my sister did and said it was wonderful. She got the filet. It looks like a nice mix of entree choices.

:thumbsup2 Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! Please keep them coming. I will have to have DH look over some of these other menu choices as he is the picky one. LOL :wizard: Rebecca

Gotta go with Raglan Road - stuff for the meat -n- taters crowd, but a boatload of fun, and sublime desserts (bread and butter pudding!!)

The one time I went to Big River Grille, it was sorta dirty. But if you're in the Boardwalk neighborhood, and want to go basic, we like the ESPN Club.

Haven't been to Shutters, altho it gets tons of bad press. Have been to Boatwright's, and had no complaints, although there are better options.

But BOMA - DW, who is the pickiest eater in the Western Hemisphere, did better than good. If your husband can eat prime rib, he'll be as happy as a cow on a finishing lot. There is plenty, repeat PLENTY, of great options for the pickiest of eaters.
