Why does it seem the closer you are to leaving the more things you keep adding to your list??

I mean, is it really critical that I mop the kitchen floor before I leave?

Mop, no. Sweep...maybe. I try not to leave crumbs because we get ants.

Good luck! I know I was packed about 3 weeks ahead of time.

I don't think that is a must do chore...

Making sure the trash is emptied and taken out and checking to making sure nothing in the fridge will spoil... those are MUSTS.

We just got back from our trip a few weeks ago and had some issues with the rental car (the rental place didn't have enough cars on site) my mom and siblings were supposed to be driving. Helping get them to another rental location set us back a few hours and we ended up in a scramble to try to catch up and leave early enough to beat afternoon traffic.

Well we ended up missing a diaper that ended up in a can that we don't normally use for diapers (you can't fault a 2 year old when they are really trying to help, a trash can to him is a trash can) and something was left in the fridge left a horrible smell, even though we thought we had checked it.

We will definitely add both of those items to our list of stuff we double check again right before we head out the door!

You must be on your way! So exciting. We just got most of our stuff packed up and have to pick up before we go and do some shopping, but all I want is for today to be over so we can goooooooo! We're there until Friday and are staying, for the first time, at the Grand Californian. It's the first trip with our almost one year old, so we're hoping that she'll love it already. She's a pretty mellow baby, thankfully. We also have the back up of our closest friends, who are coming with us. Yay!! Want to go now. Nownownownow.
